- In this Machu Picchu travel guide we start in Cusco and drive in a private car to Ollantaytambo where we board a Peru Rail train to Aguas Calientes. We provide you with a Machu Picchu history tour and guide. People want to know if Machu Picchu is Open and the answer is yes 100 percent open. The process of getting from Cusco to Machu Picchu takes about 5 hours. You can book a Machu Picchu tour and wake up at 4am for the 10am tour and then come back in the same day or you can do like we did and actually stay the night in Aguas Calientes and do the tour in the morning. People were asking if Machu Picchu is closed and the answer is No. It is open!
In this Machu Picchu vlog we show you around the sanctuary and provide facts about Machu Picchu. The reason we made this Machu Picchu travel documentary is to help visitors to Peru understand what it takes to get there.

It’s truly one of the most magical places on the planet. Had the privilege of doing a motorcycle tour up to Machu Picchu for a couple days and it was unreal. ❤
Heading to Peru in April 2024. Thanks so much for your insightful videos of locations throughout this lovely country.
You helped me plan my first trip to Thailand a couple of years ago, now you're helping me plan my first trip to Peru in September 2024 :)

Give's me a fairytale' feeling, extremely beautiful and its amazing how they used the the Rock quarry to create that sanctuary ❤️
Great video man just subbed to the channel really enjoying your content! For a young single guy in late 20s which city do you think is better Lima Peru or Quito Ecuador? I want to visit both but I was just curious since you been to both which one you preferred maybe to live long term?

Hi, what was the exact time you got into the Machu Picchu complex and would you recommend that time, I.e was it overly crowded? Thanks a lot
10 am yes I recommend. The morning fog has lifted and the afternoon evening showers have not yet begun

Ok so I’m booked to fly to Peru for 7 days in April. How many do you recommend in Cusco? And I’d really like to visit both Picchu & Rainbow Mtn. Can I really freestyle the trip and see all of this without booking entry tickets and Railroad seats in advance on line?…keep in mind I’m a backpacker type + I’m on a budget.
Thanks for your input. Btw I’m a big fan of your adventures, as a solo traveler myself.

You can freestyle it. 5 days in Cusco you should be able to get it all. But if you want to take your time then go for 7 days
