    I'm not against training in order to qualify for a CCW, in fact I'm all for it. I believe its a reasonable request given the potential problems and injuries this can mitigate. Fees for a CCW I agree are unnecessary and should be removed. Our ability to drive, and in this case it is a privilege to drive a vehicle/earn a license to drive, is in a way similar to carrying a gun, in that proper training is reasonable to ensure the safety of everyone. To earn a license to drive or own a vehicle does not require us to provide a valid reason to own and operate a vehicle.

      You're equating a privilege with a right.
      No one has a right to drive on public roads.
      As far as being trained to carry a firearm, everyone has a responsibility to be trained and safe, BUT nowhere in the constitution does the government have the right to grant you "permission" to do so.
      As a citizen you simple HAVE that right. And you had that right before there even was a United States of America 🇺🇸

      I know that, I was simply using at as an example, not a perfect one but I think people get the idea.
