The Snake challenge was absolute torture not knowing that. I had the fights down to a science, and figured out that if you damage yourself with down-b and get to at least 100%, while also taking over a minute to complete the fight you could minimize difficulty gain. ...... Little did I know.
I did that as well by letting the CPU beat me up. then I would dash attack to f smash to instakill

Well you CAN get to 9.9 before the final battle and if you loose use a Classic Ticket to finish at 9.9. That’s how I got my 9.9 with Kirby. I got up to 9.9 before Marx, beat him until I died, then I used my ticket and finished him with my 9.9.
@@P.V.3606 That is true. You can also start with a Classic Ticket to get the extra bonuses and still hit 9.9, as long as you don't continue with one.

You should try the torture that is Cruel Smash or try and complete World of Light again but do a Spiritless Run on Hard Mode if you want a real challenge.

I'm actually doing that right now and I'm actually doing pretty good, I'm already fighting giga bowser, which took a while to get there because I went the marth route
I tried that on new game+. Never got past the console city.

You get two other toon link teammates and destroy everything
Toon Link's Ganon fight is probably the easiest classic mode boss.
@@Sean_Bird I'd say K. Rool's Galleom fight is quite easy as well. That's how I cleared Classic on 9.9. Didn't die once.
@@mariotimes7 Wolf's boss is also pretty easy. Just spam Side-B and Galleom can't do much.

I just loved how all these Classic modes are tailored in theme to the character you're using. So much attention to detail and history.
PS took forever to figure it out, but Mewtwo coming in after Dr Mario Wily is meant to be Alien Wily from... crap I forget which Megaman game that was.

It's amazing just how often Alpha is cracking the trending page for gaming. When I commented on this video, it was #4 for gaming, and I've noticed that other video's of his are getting on trending too. I think it all started with that Pokemon Let's Go video.

Nintendo should add an update where Spirit Teams are usable in classic mode but can only be used on harder difficulties.
I never really watched SSB videos before SSBU and I find Alpharad to be the one that makes the funniest videos. Him and Weezy Plays, but I don't think Weezy enjoys making SSB content as he said that once in a video. All in all, alpharad, I like you.

This might be insane and hard. You have to go through EVERY fighter and win every match. HOWEVER If you lose ONE battle, you have to completely start over at Mario

I too mistakenly did Snake's route starting at 5.0 but I was actually able to pull it off in 2 tries. Because of that I also got the 9.9 challenge. Still felt stupid.

Ultimate is the only time I completed all Classic routes in Smash due to how unique they were.

@@praxisclow I did it mostly for unlocks. While all of them weren't all completely original, they were varied enough that I enjoyed playing them.
They were pretty unique, I just didn't like how Master & Crazy Hand were the final bosses most of the time.

To be honest Corrin is as boring as a real piece of corn, but playstyle wise is one of the most original and enjoyable sword fighters in the entire game, like no joke I would gladly kill Roy to keep Corrin next game

I've completed every route in Classic Mode, it takes a while, but it helps you become versatile with all of the characters
I came back to classic, and in the Mario route, Marth and Chrom ONLY use side B and that sucks
