Yes, get out there. That's why we want to buy an RV

It's People like You That make B. C. an Amazing place to live
Oh wow, thank you 😊
beautiful Side view at 20:25 It's been awhile since i was up that way so Nice to see it all again and in it's GREEN state
It's quickly going from green to gold.
It was a good drive, thank you
Golf course is pronounced Toe-B-Ann-O, 4 syllables. Nice video, thanks
Now if only I could remember that
Good morning, Juan, 90 degrees here in eastern Oregon.......more summer.🙃Got the orchard mowed before flamethrower heat really hits this afternoon.
Yea, definitely a good heat wave, glad I didn't have to tarp
a great drive so far. Just watched the neat mirror shot plus window shot of Kamloops lake. Lot of years since I was in Kamloops as a young boy visiting family. Uncle was at the weigh scales in Cache Creek.
I want to get a 4th camera so we can do those shots more often at much better quality
See you next time, Juan 👋
Thank you for telling us whos doing the side passenger shots. I got confused with Jess not there. I didnt know who was doing it til you said the cookie monster.
LOL, yea, cookie monster is good at holding a camera
In the 70s I used to deliver oxygen and acetylene to that plywood mill. It was my last stop doing a loop up to Craigmont mine then Ashcroft and then there . I had to arrive before 3:30 pm to do the paperwork and then back to Kamloops where I worked out off.
Always nice to carry both an Oxidizer and the fuel on your back..... avoid the spark lol
I drove that way once a week, every Wed,, out of Kamloops in the 70's as well. I drove for a wholesale grocery and produce company out of Kamloops. Dropped at the store in Savona then dropped at all the stores and fruit stands all the way down to Big Horn in the canyon. That was the easy day. Thursday was east to Revelstoke, then down to the Okanagan for a reload. If I was lusky I could pick up in Vernon, if not so lucky a load of onions in Osoyoos. That would be a 20 hour day. Thankfully I was young and stupid and loved driving trucks.
great video as always was just through there Monday
Hope you had a fun drive too
It has been on our news how hot it is in Texas and power down in places because of Hurricane Beryl. That must be hard for everybody to handle. It's just terrible the destruction it has caused.
Yea it's pretty rough
Good morning -M🍽️🍽️SE 🫎🍽️
MOOSE
20:34 looks like a nice lake! Are there resorts or regional parks on it?
There is a park on the other side, but theres no roads to it. The Rockie Mountaineer goes through it. Its called "Painted Bluffs Provincial Park"
@28:59 I thought those were on skids but looking at the unloading clips they are not on skids. Im surprised on how fast he can lift those off the trailers.
There is a 2×4 in between the lifts, that's to help hold them together. Veneer is so flexible it doesn't help the forklift. The forklift isn't actually going in on the bottom layer, he just pushes in near the bottom like a hay bale.
@@JuanRempel You cant even see the 2x4. I thought the forklift was doing that while lifting them.
I'll use an example that I tried on you before re. the pronunciation of Savona. It basically rhymes with Saginaw, Michigan. It's one of those names where the pronunciation is totally at odds with what your brain tells you how to pronounce it, mainly because it's a butchered Anglicization (or something) of the name Saveneux, the guy who ran the first ferry across the mouth of Kamloops Lake. If you come from the Kamloops area, you learn the pronunciation very early on. Everyone else just scratches their heads and wonder why it's pronounced wrong, especially because there is Savona, Italy, and that's pronounced exactly like it should be. Not Savona BC. Confused? ;-)
I have it right in my head now, depending on how long till I go there again, I might still remember it lol.
I don't seem to have much to say today.
Yea, I have days like that, hard to make videos on days like that
G'day Juan
