    Caren Pinto of News 12, I don’t know if Rebecca will see this or not.
    Rebecca, I’m happy you’re a step closer to getting back to your mom and dad’s house.

    Im confuse, when you cant even move your arm, are you tetraplegic instead of quadraplegic ? also you need help for breath ?

    • @tqsuited
      @tqsuited Před rokem +4

      I get the confusion, the terms tetra or quadraplegic are basically interchangeable. The higher the spinal cord injury is the more paralysis, typically a C1/2 injury will be paralysed from the neck down and need breathing assistance. As you go lower down there is more movement such as arms, but still classified as quad because there is impairment still.. can't move fingers etc.

    Senior living? Heck, she's closer to being a senior in high school than being a senior in age. 😉

    Being lazy sometimes pays off. Most quadriplegics were in skiiing, diving or horse riding accidents. 😢

      @Annie-Tee that's true. Also my 38 year old friend just got cancer. He didn't do anything to cause it doesn't even smoke. Sometimes things happen and we just have to live the best we can.

    Skiing, backflips, diving, bmx .. WHY? Why you people are doing such activities, where one split second can ruin your life forever. WHY? My only question is WHY? I dont feel like I am part of human race… ever since I was a young boy, atm I am 34, I have never done any of the things above, why take risk with your body, my main question is why you all take your body, spine, movement etc for granted? I feel that you people will do anything for gratification, to be center of attention or for some cheap few seconds thrills.. you go even so far as breaking your necks, ie puting yourself in these situation

    She did a tiktok where she tried to shame people going to the gym because everything is obviously all about her. My advice? Learn to ski

    • @adamwilkinson6721
      @adamwilkinson6721 Před 2 lety +21

      My advice; I think you need to develop at least a single brain cell.
      That Tiktok was of a young man doing a clip on how "there's nothing worse than when your headphones die whilst you're at the gym".
      Her clip that appears afterwards of her in her chair motionless, is not to shame people going to the gym, it's more like a statement to say, "there are definitely worse things than your headphones running out of battery".
      So in other words, stop complaining about small petty crap.
      Which is another piece of advice it seems like you need to hear. Which unsurprisingly went straight over your head.

      I hope you rot in hell. While you’re at it, find two brain cells to rub together. The video was not meant to shame people. In fact, it was a satirical video meant to be taken as a joke. I hope you feel big and bad. Mocking severe injuries ‘cause you don’t know how to read the room.

      well...no1 can prevent accident in sport....get some compassion for her....shes paralysed from neck and cant move anything.....please....

      I haven't seen that tiktok video so won't comment on that. But ppl in general need to stop comparing their clearly worst off life event to other's less so daily experiences. Always going to be ppl that have experienced something worst. To say what they experienced is worst than what that person is experiencing, even if it clearly is, just negates, dismisses what that other person is going through. For them maybe dead headphones was the final straw in their day. We all have our struggles and comparing their struggle to another person's struggle is not helpful. I'm guilty of it myself years ago after a less traumatic cord injury. My family members told me to please stop as it as was hurtful I was dismissing the struggles they were dealing with. Their struggles were no less real, at that moment, than mine. It sounds like it was early on in her life changing event so I'd cut Rebecca some slack.
