Warning! This video may upset naval battle experts. Seriously, I hope the analogy was helpful and not just a display of my complete ignorance on naval battle strategy.

Thank you for this!!! Aspiring blackbelt here. I added snippets of my tkd class to my vlogs because you inspired me to do so!

Thank you, Master. It reminds me what Taeguek Oh Jang taught.

These were some good tips. I'm around 6'3 and I really don't like getting hit, so I'm going to be practicing more of this defense. I just hope I can get away with it in karate, but the side kick is pretty similar. thanks!

Nice, work with it for awhile, I think you can find places where it could be useful, especially if you have long legs.

Yeah, Bill Wallace used a similar concept in Kickboxing. It’s a handy general principle. Thanks for the comment as always!

@@tkdguide no problem! I like your videos and still help my 40 yr old self and the early stages of TKD. Out of it this week though because my oldest daughter brought a stomach bug home and laid the house out

Lol and get easily swept since all ur weight is on 1 leg unless that's not allowed in Olympic I dunno the rules all I know is that is only good for somone attacking the head but leaves your whole body undefended. Is it useful yes. Would I use it ? Yes, BUT one should learn when to properly use it first because if used improperly and miss timed. You will be punished for it.

Friends, we have spotted our first dingus in the wild. Note the lack of a profile picture and NPC argument. These are both typical signs of a dingus. 👆

Takes me back to the day my ass was served to me in a championship. 🥲
I actually liked the naval example 😁
