- Join the concrete crew as we finally got some good weather to place and finish a big driveway. I am so glad to finally get this job done as we had plenty of problems with it. In the end the customer was super happy and even gave us a cash tip! Enjoy

That’s awesome of your customer to do that for all the guys, a lot of people don’t realize what that really means to the crew, and it inspires them to always put out that extra bit of effort, and not just because they think they are getting a tip, it gives that extra boost of confidence and means even more on a difficult job like that one.

It’s always awesome when the neighbors ask for a bid when you’re doing a job already in the neighborhood. That’s how I got 5 lawns in a row when I started my landscaping business a few years ago. Driveway looks amazing! EASSSSSSY MONEY

I work in accounting and financial reporting (easyyyyy money) & I always watch these videos. I started watching because I enjoy seeing the process of something & appreciate all the steps that it takes to get from start to finish. I’ve stayed watching because of the personalities of the crew.

So, I am a software engineer and I watch as well. I watch because my uncle was a Concrete Guy, and watching you reminds me of him, and the many times he brought me to his job sites. Plus you are all pretty funny (in a good way).
Super common for the 7.3’s stock radio to cause a significant parasitic draw. I replaced the radio in ours with a cheap old head unit and it fixed the drain. Also installed a little NICO battery tender in the engine bay to keep the batteries topped off and conditioned since the old girl doesn’t get worked as often as she used to. 7.3s have their quirks but gotta love ‘em!
We had 7.3 PS in our Ambulances I can tell you there were Weeks those Engine Never Shut Off..Especially in Colder Seasons
Haha I was audio only when I posted that and totally thought it was the 7.3 having trouble with cold starts 😅😂. But yeah heads up for the 7.3 👍

@50shadesofgday64 they were actually very well maintained and serviced...then we would sell them off at about 300,000 miles, let me tell you when my Medic said go...7.3 vs the 6.7 or a Duramax the 7.3 Powerstroke would haul the mail better than anything on the road

I'm a Cybersecurity Engineer and I LOVE watching your channel. Never done a day of hard labor other than mowing lawns but man watching this channel is my daily / weekly joy.
any advice of how to get into that field?
I keep telling younger people I feel the Cybersecurity field will eventually be huge, been saying that for the past decade.
These large corporations can't keep enduring these attacks/"leaks".
I wish I had the patience to sit and do what you do, 10 minutes and I'd get bored and lose focus.

I took a huge pay cut from my previous career and started at the bottom as a Helpdesk Technician and worked my way up into a Security Operations Analyst role and eventually moved into a Cybersecurity Engineer position. While I was a Helpdesk technician/L1 and L2 SOC analyst I got my Cybersecurity degree at WGU which included a ton of IT and Cybersecurity certifications plus the degree. Sadly, Cybersecurity isn't really a entry level role and can take a lot of time to get into but it's well worth it. It continues to grow and will always grow due to the advancements in technology, AI, etc..
Edit: Forgot to mention I did get a ton more certifications even after my degree such as the PNPT, PJPT a few blue team certifications and I worked on homemade labs and did a BUNCH of hack the box, try hack me, and did a few pen testing competitions to show my skill (not needed, it was just for fun lol).
Cybersecurity sales here. Same, I used to work for a landscaping company, but that was over 15 years ago and not back breaking like the work Ryan and his crew do.

Built my own garage, but watched the concrete guy work the slab for it. Few guys showed up for the forms and pour, then left 1 guy alone to finish. Lost his cool quite a few times LOL. I think he was having a bad day.
I'm trying to build my own garage. My concrete work is disgusting, but it's strong and nothing a diamond grinder can't fix 😊

Technically he had 2 bids. Lets see if he gets them under contract. Sometimes customers get second thoughts when they hear the price.
I was impressed with the company that had issues with their product came to make it right, on the job. This shows that they are listening to their consumers and fixing any problems. This was a big pour with some issues, like the ground was like a swamp and have a steep wall issue that was handled with finesse. This shows your crews' skill and attention to detail. If I were the home owner, I would be pleased with the job well done. Z did a good job for the first day. Z knows his skills are good.
They are doing that because of the influence that Ryan has. You can guarantee they would not do that for your average contractor that has issues with their product.
We how been watching Victory almost 2 years and of all the pours that we have seen you all do (not counting having to dig to China) this one was the best to us. Your new guy stepped right in . Looks like he is going to take a lot off of you.

If I had to guess your customer told his neighbours about how well you handled the unforeseen issue/expense of the unstable ground and didn't hose him over it. Having a well referred contractor in front of your house that you can talk to can sometimes nudge people in doing something they were putting off.
