I have never seen anyone work harder than this man working with Ryan and doing side jobs. Eric don’t give up your young your going to make it Its always hard at first but if you keep up the drive you have you will be a Ryan.
I was thinking the same and asking myself “why is pushing the broom into it and not back dragging it?”. I think that’s why it had all those crumbs because of the downward forward pressure as popped to just pulling it.
it’ll look fine when it’s cured and those crumbs come off. but i do agree it should be a soft broom that’s pulled and not pushed. biggest downside is a rough texture can trap more dust and dirt, requiring more washing.

Hey brother we use our buggy sometimes to dump into the wheel barrow you just dump it in from the side and it works really well for spots like that hopefully this works out looks great!
Did you pin to the stoop in the center of the slab I would think since there is support post for the roof coming off the stoop it's on a footing so I hope the rebar is at the bottom of your pour but I don't think so

lol no one puts rebar in sidewalk. Rebar does not do prevent, cracking just helps with tensile strength
