Because of your video’s I used a razor with less blades. A 2 blade vs 5 blade. While it was a closer shave and clogged less I ran into a few problems. 1) the head doesnt bend, which made it harder to shave certain spots 2) less protection, I knicked my skin a few times. Not painful, but still present. 3) because of the lack of rotation, and the lack of protection, I had to shave much slower and more carefully. Which took quite a while for a shave that didnt feel much better by the end. I had to be so slow and be so gentle with the blade on my skin I dont know if there was much benefit.
Plus no its not gonna shave well when your long ass leg hair is clogging the blades. That has nothing to do with performance or quality. If youre shaving long leg hair you have to unclog regularly period.
You can avoid the clogging of multiple blade razers by first trimming the hair. Then when you shave you will only be taking out small hairs that will never clog your blades.
Safety razors have been around for ages and yes they do give you a cleaner shave but it's also easy to get a cut if you're not careful. Once you get a hang of it it'll be no issue at all.
Idk about what kind of multi blade you’re using, but I’ve always been taught to go DOWN with the hair, not up. Its easier to get the hair shaved if you go with the grain instead of going up and fighting it
Yeah cause shaving the opposite direction causes irritation, razor burns and ingrown hairs. Not to mention it makes it even more uncomfortable after shaving. As well as leaving bumps
For ppl who use multiblade razor. After you gluide once, instead of starting new, gluide backwards to the next stop.. that just takes off the hair from the blades and makes it much more effective.
I love single razors amazing to use! I purchased my husband a vintage single razor a while back and loved it. I was in the market for one for myself. i just saw your video, and i will be purchasing one for myself and my girls. Thank you!

So started use 2 or 3 blade razors and magically I finally had perfect shaving without any side effects. After 2 years i wanted to try again with one blade razor, again blood, burns and bumps. Never more! 😣
My mom is a retired nurse and she would always bring home the single-blade razors for the household--all guys--to use. They were sharp, durable, and saved us all time.

Damn things shave so smoothly I cant see a hint of hair
If you never used a safety razor, get yourself a mild one for begginers. People don’t realize safety razors are all different with different angle they put the blade in. Some are more aggressive while some are very mild that it’s almost impossible to cut yourself with. Some can be adjusted. But as someone who used safety razor for 10 years now- it’s so much better for skin, sustainability wise and a lot cheaper to upkeep.
a tip i learned is after u shave the hair go back down the opposite way and it takes off a lot of the hair off ur razor and u can js keep going up n down to shave quickly on ur legs
Multiblade razors are for people who want to do a quick shave without learning how to use a single blade razor. And if you don't want to clogg up your razor like that, trim your hair before shaving them. However if you want no hair long term, then lasering is both cheaper and less time consuming.
yes single blade razors definitely have more hazards and take some learning to master . Having one blade makes is much easier to accidentally cut yourself so starting slower and lighter is definitely the way to start
Tip to unclog multiblade 🪒: dont run under water. Shave in the opposite direction. Like if ur shaving from A to B, run from B to A again, holding the razor exactly as u did before no change. Gets all the shaved hair out completely, then u can just rinse that hair away
Jesus, youre not supposed to use a rusted razor... 🤦🏽♀️ and you can use a little more force than barely holding it with 2 fingers. Try to make unbiased comparisons. Your company will actually get far with decent advertisement.
applying pressure while shaving will irritate your skin! the multiblade razor definitely shaves, you can see all the hair between the blades. the point is that it takes more passes for a smooth shave and going over the same area can irritate your skin!
@@dewyhoursIf you put the same amount of pressure as you did the single blade razor and had it flat against the skin, it would've shown the same effect. It's just very obvious you didn't put in the same effort, which is unfortunately misleading advertisement. It doesn't take more passes for one area, it just takes more rinsing, as the single blade is double sided so it has 2 passes as opposed to the 1 for the other. The smoother shave I think has already been statistically proven, I personally didnt notice much of a difference with a different brand, but that might just be my hair type. I just don't get why companies can't focus on the actual plus sides instead of making up other stuff to pile on.
@@MonsterrBunnehit would not be the same result, I tried it myself and I saw the multi bladder razor do a SLIGHTLY worse job. Overall just buy a single blade razor IF you buy a lot of razors throughout the year. If you barely shave you can get away with cheap multi bladder razors.

be careful not to drop the single blade one. the handle is slippery and I almost cut my toe off
£29.95 + additional fees… FOR A RAZOR 😭 imma stick with my multiblade razor thankyou
check pinned comment😊
@@dewyhoursit’s still no reason to be so expensive? You can get the same ones for a literal cheaper price.
@@SilverhandV2 This does the same work as the Wilkinson Sword's double edge razor which is also a metal razor, it costs less than 20 dollars and includes 5 refills. You can use Personna's blade refills and they fit perfectly, you get 100 blades for 20usd. 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻 do your math 😊
@@carolgiselle1740 so? You can literally get single razors at a small store and get them for like 5 dollars. I’m not paying like 30 for a razor like that.
@@carolgiselle1740 go ahead and cry to your useless 30 dollar razor! 😊👌👌👌
Double sided blades concern me!! Nice feature but I’d be careful
This marketing is actualy really effective and convincing
Because of your video’s I used a razor with less blades. A 2 blade vs 5 blade. While it was a closer shave and clogged less I ran into a few problems. 1) the head doesnt bend, which made it harder to shave certain spots 2) less protection, I knicked my skin a few times. Not painful, but still present. 3) because of the lack of rotation, and the lack of protection, I had to shave much slower and more carefully. Which took quite a while for a shave that didnt feel much better by the end. I had to be so slow and be so gentle with the blade on my skin I dont know if there was much benefit.
unclogging is fairly easy, just glide it the opposite direction and do a light hit on the counter THEN rinse every other swipe
You can use old tooth brush to clean out the hairs.
Your razer vs turboflex razor
Safety razors have been around for ages and yes they do give you a cleaner shave but it's also easy to get a cut if you're not careful. Once you get a hang of it it'll be no issue at all.
Double blade is the perfect mid ground, doesn't cut the skin like single blades but also doesn't clog or suck at cutting like three or four blades
I totally bet the one razor side is exfoliated and the other isnt, it makes a BIG difference
Idk about what kind of multi blade you’re using, but I’ve always been taught to go DOWN with the hair, not up. Its easier to get the hair shaved if you go with the grain instead of going up and fighting it
Right why is she cap
Everyone is different
Its because going up its the only way to get a closer shave if u have thick hair. You also wax the opposite direction that the hair grows
Yeah cause shaving the opposite direction causes irritation, razor burns and ingrown hairs. Not to mention it makes it even more uncomfortable after shaving. As well as leaving bumps
THIS!!! omg thank you for saying smt i was waiting for a comment like this 😭😭
For ppl who use multiblade razor. After you gluide once, instead of starting new, gluide backwards to the next stop.. that just takes off the hair from the blades and makes it much more effective.
Bruh, you applied much more of that stuff for the single razor, lol
I love single razors amazing to use! I purchased my husband a vintage single razor a while back and loved it. I was in the market for one for myself. i just saw your video, and i will be purchasing one for myself and my girls. Thank you!
I used to shave with one blade and it was terrible! I always had to cut myself. I had also many redness, burns and bumps. Even if i exfoliated my skin and used shaving butter. So started use 2 or 3 blade razors and magically I finally had perfect shaving without any side effects. After 2 years i wanted to try again with one blade razor, again blood, burns and bumps. Never more! 😣
Id probably cut myself so bad with the single blade razor
Between this and Style Theory’s video on shaving, I think it’s time to get a safety razor
My mom is a retired nurse and she would always bring home the single-blade razors for the household--all guys--to use. They were sharp, durable, and saved us all time.
When you are gliding the multi blade shaver to shave, glide it in the opposite direction so you can get all the hair out.
Love it! Your also so beautiful 💗 I’m definitely buying this
The one bladed razor is obviously the winner I love one bladed razors
Multi has always worked better for me. 5 blade to be exact.
I have a single blade razor and I love it!
Temu be taking notes rn
Multi blade razors are much safer and you can see her net putting as much pressure as you should
I agree!! I hate shaving with multi blade disposable razors. Clog up so easy. I’ve just purchased a single blade razor and can’t wait to try it!
Get a cup. Fill it with water, and rinse your razor that way. You won’t waste as much water.
This was an ad. I feel violated.
Shaving my face sucks with multiple blades, but I’m also a goddamn dumbass so I’d end up bloody if I tried single blade.
Dude you knoooooow they’re gonna upcharge you on the handle but the refills are literally just razor blades. You can get them for dirt cheap, so this is more cost effective. However, inside I am dying because I went to target today and those old cardboard flash Fujifilm disposable cameras are $18!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I screamed
Multi blade razors also sell the blades to recharge just the "head" of the razor
also on the normal shaver if you put it under water and shake it a little bit the hair will fly right off
One of the razors were rusty and obviously used while the other was new
I think it would be better if we take water in a container and whisk the razor with hair in it to save water....
Your razor is like $40 no ones stupid enough to buy that lol. Id definitely purchase tho if it was $5-$10
Assuming its a quality handle, safety razors last decades and replacement blades cost a few cents, so it pays for itself within a few months of use
@@cyberneticfish8086yes but I'm not spending $40 on a razor in the first place lol 🤣
I started using single blade razor bc I was trying to save up (them multi blades dont last long 💀) i was super reluctant at first bc I thought the design looked... not for women(twas gillette) I thought it might slice my armpits or something lol but I accidentally found a treasure. Damn things shave so smoothly I cant see a hint of hair
where did u get it?
The time cut when u were rinsing it off and it magically turned clean in the second part :0...
No hate, just before i buy it could you please use a body butter for both legs❤
Question, I heard you have a higher chance of cutting yourself with a single blade razor is that true? I have shaky hands so Im scared to try.😅
Yep, that's why I switched to multi :/
I don't think it's true. In my experience I've actually cut myself more easily with multiblade razors
I definitely need that in my country, I'm a person who grows my body hair very fast. 😭
same 😭
Have u waxed?
If you never used a safety razor, get yourself a mild one for begginers. People don’t realize safety razors are all different with different angle they put the blade in. Some are more aggressive while some are very mild that it’s almost impossible to cut yourself with. Some can be adjusted. But as someone who used safety razor for 10 years now- it’s so much better for skin, sustainability wise and a lot cheaper to upkeep.
a tip i learned is after u shave the hair go back down the opposite way and it takes off a lot of the hair off ur razor and u can js keep going up n down to shave quickly on ur legs
Why did u cut the video while washing the razor
Can u make a beginner friendly one pls
Thats actually pretty good!
Been using a single blade razor for years and it changed my life
Multiblade razors are for people who want to do a quick shave without learning how to use a single blade razor.
And if you don't want to clogg up your razor like that, trim your hair before shaving them.
However if you want no hair long term, then lasering is both cheaper and less time consuming.
Waxing once a month its way easier and also cheap if u dont have money for laser and dont wanna shave every week
Shave up then glide your razor back down and the hairs come out, and it won’t get clogged that way.
Does this razor hurt? I mean can you hurt yourself in any way with this?
yes single blade razors definitely have more hazards and take some learning to master . Having one blade makes is much easier to accidentally cut yourself so starting slower and lighter is definitely the way to start
Pls i think you guys and august pads should collab *perfect combo ❤
Tip to unclog multiblade 🪒: dont run under water. Shave in the opposite direction. Like if ur shaving from A to B, run from B to A again, holding the razor exactly as u did before no change. Gets all the shaved hair out completely, then u can just rinse that hair away
Single blade razor gang
👇🏼
Agreed
@@MonsterrBunnehit would not be the same result, I tried it myself and I saw the multi bladder razor do a SLIGHTLY worse job. Overall just buy a single blade razor IF you buy a lot of razors throughout the year. If you barely shave you can get away with cheap multi bladder razors.
The way it is held while shaving also makes a difference
The cut when rinsing the single blade
I really want one, how could I convince my mom go be buy me rasor so expensive when she don't even let me shave ? 😭😭
My entire life is a lie I will be swapping to single blades now! My multi blades are $10 each 😭
