One of my teachers said once: The only ones who put a price on something are people who buy it. If you stop buying their products they will be forced to lower the price. As long as there are people who buys, than the price is correct.

At this point the only way to differentiate between an original apple product vs a fake brand is the price.

my friend bought a fake wallet in the same colour as my real magsafe wallet and oh man does his feel like paper, like its an origami or something, the real one is soft and feels really nice (because its actually leather)

I bought the original just for the find feature, otherwise I would have bought a fake. The magsafe case you bought is the worst, there are versions of these that detect when you put them on the phone. But I already saw original cases from the iPhone 12 era somewhere and they were sold for 10 dollars.

Tried to buy a phone off the internet the other day. Dude comes to meet me. Wrong box and was sealed. I said let me open it. He said if you open it you own it. I knew whatever was in there was not what I wanted to gave it back and said I'm good. That would not have ended well for either of us
I do the same and let them walk. Most likely a fake, or not even a phone? I had one customer opened the box and of course was a fake iPhone.
