      My wife wanted to bring me to the hospital because I was having withdrawals sitting in the chair with my hand controls moving all that brush and digging pits crying for letsdig18 lol 😆

    I know burn piles are always a problem for you but I, and a lot of others, really appreciate the fact that you always let safety be the first concern when burning.

    Looking real nice leaving a tree here and there. Wish we had so much space here.
    With pushing all that brush, you do yourself a favour by welding a big bar on top of the lugs from the rake rack. Logs can slide of to the side instead of keep on hanging on the inside.
    You had to do some turning and reversing to get them of. It also helps when pushing brush from coming over the blade into your radiator. Nice winter project.

    Chris I've been watching you for about a year. You've cost me alot of money. I bought a Cat D4 used. A new takeuchie TB 290 with several attachments. I've been doing land clearing on the side. Like you I'm doing something 7 days a week. I have a truck repair business during the week with 12 employees. The land clearing relaxes me. Nature, quiet except for machines running. Thanks for the inspiration and your teachings.

    Thanks for posting Chris, I love watching your excavator work because there weren't any excavators back in the day. The closest thing on the island was a john Deere articulating tree farmer pulling an arch.

    We had a hold over fire from a pile that was burnt below an old logging road. When the road was made they pushed the brush over then evidently built the road on top….anyway the fire occurred 8mos after the pile was burnt and went through an entire winter (6-10’ snow) and a wet spring….the smoke was spotted in august when the material burning under the road reached the remains of the original pile….so this stuff can burn a long long time with dirt covering it.

    I’m glad to see you’re making more use of the dozer for clearing. You should think of adding a riser to the blade to keep trees from coming over the top and hitting the lift cylinders

    Maybe you can put the rake upside down, when pushing big piles?
    then it would prevent the trees from going over the blade.

    We always enjoy watching Chris make a fire. Wilma dozer is still pushing good - oil leak must not have been really serious. @ 30:34 - good to see you have some help running the V220 for you while you push. Starting to see leaf color change from the first cool temps you have had. Keep up the good job - you are almost finished with this one!

    Yeah, You can really see it coming together now Chris... You did get rid of quite a bit of those trees with the burning ,you did get done !! Looking really good Man !! I guess down that line is what you have left to clear ?? Should be able to get that knocked on out, pretty quick !! Just being able to get back to burning huh !! Same here in Western Ky. Man, We haven't had any rain in a few weeks here, don't think they are calling for much of any in near future either.... Guess same on your end too !! Well, you'll get it !!     Would be handy if you had an attachment that protruded above the blade so that brush wouldn't get caught behind it. I run into the same issue while pushing brush piles with my skid steer root rake combo

    Chris I wish you could at least have some one out there with you while clearing. It's just so dangerous, I've been pinned In the seat before and couldn't reach the throttle and had to stall it with the brakes. Be careful
