What I really like is that Sypha and Alucard "turning into Belmonts" isn't just a comedic gag. It goes a little deeper than that. They both came from relatively comfortable and privileged lives compared to Trevor so they’d always give him a hard time for being so crude and nasty, but once life started giving them L’s too they slowly start becoming as bad as him. 'Belmont-itis' is a product of the lifestyle. The end of season 3 --> start of season 4 sums this up pretty well: When Sypha said that things in Lindenfeld couldn't have gone more wrong, Trevor's only response was that they were living *his* life now, not hers. After that, her infection really starts to set in, symptoms of which include cursing like a sailor, making violent threats, and being more selective/assertive about accepting a plea for help in season 4. Alucard got a different strain of the virus, but the outcome was pretty similar. He was already coming apart at the seams from his isolation, but after what had to be the worst threesome of his life (complete with emotional trauma and some hardcore / almost fatal BDSM) , he basically decided that he hated people, and also stopped looking after himself as much. What's a friar ?
@@albertrex6851 Basically , a Friar is an "apprentice" monk who isn't necessarily been brought fully into the religious circle. They are more like a very religious volunteer/servant than a Monk, who is a officially inducted clergyman.
At least, that's how I've thought of it.
"Its all your fault, You did this to me!" Oh the foreshadowing lol "you climbed all over me and turned me in to someone who says shit" ah like a proper Belmont!
i mean, even without the foreshadowing it's a funny moment
I mean, that lineage isn't going to perpetrate itself!
This is basically how my dad described my mom's mood swings when she was pregnant with me. I feel bad for her.
She is my favorite female animated character I think ever. The voice actress did an amazing job and really created a sweet compassionate speaker who then realizes the evils of their world and turns into a magician badass. Like without her Trevor woulda died a lot lmao
And without Trevor Sypha would be dead in a cyclops' belly :D
@@salvadortoscano2534technically, without Trevor, Sypha should have remained a statue. The cyclops would feed on her terror, not her existence.
I'm starting to think that this is a classic "How I Met Your Mother" situation for every single Belmont. Months to years of monster fighting, and then boom, she's instantly cursing like any other person in the family.
My headcanon is that if Julius Belmont shows up, he’ll be a naive newcomer who worships his ancestors…until he finds out that he comes from a bloodline of pottymouths.

Sypha has learned to throw curses.
The Belmont's curses
I never noticed that sypha bursts into tears... that makes this scene so much deeper than the comedic value
Not tears - that was sweat. She is working hard in this scene and she is summoning fire of all elements in a tall grassland area.

Love how both Cypher and Alucard state they’ve become like Trevor in this season haha
Sypha
Cypher might actually be a legit translation from japanese
@@seta-san2149 The official translation (as well as the one that makes sense, considering 'Cypher' would be a masculine name) is Sypha.
“You did this to me.” “You made me this way” “I’m acting like this because of you” “You did this”
Some of us are still trying to figure out what we did.
Some of us know.
True Love really is arguing with someone about how much of a bad influence they are on you.
I love how they made the sorcerer the most op character. It’s actually very accurate to the games. The sorcerer is very close in power to the half vampire :3
Even Dracula was a little concerned. He wasn't worried at all about fighting his own son, and seeing a Belmont again seemed to amuse him more than anything. Sypha actually made him straighten up and put a little more effort into the fight, and rightly so. I doubt the big man himself ever thought someone would manage to toss his own magic back at him, and she did it with some help.
Finally, I was wondering when she starts swearing, and she did.😂
I never thought I would ever hear Flora swear.
I didn't notice that she doesn't swear until Trevor brought it up lol
In her defense, it was while fighting Flea Men. Those bastards will do that to anyone.
It still amazes me how Sypha doesn't seem to run out of spells, or barely gets tired after firing dozens upon dozens of fireballs, lightning bolts, and icicle shards all while dodging enemy attacks, and still have the stamina to rant.
She put in extra points into mana reserves or regeneration. FFS, she's using fire, ice AND lightning literally all at the same time at the end.
@@JnEricsonx yeah she’s kinda cracked lmao

Part of becoming a Belmont is that combat becomes a good amount easier, so long as you're sober.
This was the moment Trevor realized she was pregnant.
When Trevor calls you out on something so small but out of the normal, you’ve done something truly revolutionary in his eyes.
Her nerves are on the top because she is prego.
Or maybe it's due to the never-ending slew of monsters ravaging the land trying to kill them. You know. That old problem. Like mayhaps I'm reading too far into this, and if so my bad, but women can be angry for other reasons beyond periods and pregnancy
