No words to describe.....I just felt crying.
Top class work.
with all the crazy things happening in the world right now, I can't explain how nice it is to forget about it all for 15 minutes and watch a man build a chair
Out of all the things I've seen in my life, that chair is probably in the top 5 of the most beautiful I've ever seen. I'm deep into handmade things, knives, guitars, furniture, cabins and everything in between. But I have only seen a few things that have come close to being this perfectly designed and crafted. Well done Sir
Extraordinary job. Congratulations
I’ve never scene a wrench used for a measuring, that’s a great tip thank you
Using a spanner to test the diameter of the tenon... What a great and simple solution!
Amazing woodworking ! enjoy watching the video ! well done , friend.
Geometry made beautiful.
I know quality when I see it and this is top notch. Beautiful craftsmanship. I love the square legs and the overall design is stunning.
Just one thing to say…..WOW! Thank you for sharing the experience.
A beautiful chair and perfectly executed work - and not a pocket hole in sight. It calls for a tip of the hat from a fellow (old school) woodworker in Sweden. ;)
Wonderful. It’s like watching that video with the fire, or listening to Scala radio with the birdsong in the morning.
Neat idea using an open end wrench as your "calipers" on the wood lathe. You always know it's going to measure the exact same diameter of your turnings.
I would just be tickled beyond acceptance to attend a class for making a chair like this. Amazing.
Absolutely amazing, woodwork skills like yours come only in genetics pack. Thank you so much for sharing! CDMX
Turned out great! Thanks for sharing your process.
I've been waiting for you to post a video! Great stuff! Really interesting process and relaxing video style. Thanks! Hope theres more to come!
Love your chairs!! it's almost hipnotic to watch the process. We need more!!
This is an incredible chair, and so rare to find a chair build like this on YT!
That looks like a damn good chair
This is incredible! Well done, loved watching the process.
Beautiful! Amazing work!
Thank you fior this amazing zen production.
Wow, more please! Even your steam box is stylish. Great design and great execution!
Amazing build! My dream is to build a single chair like this one day! I follow you on IG and am constantly amazed at all of the amazing chairs you build!!
Very, very nice. Nuff said.

Brilliant imagery and beautiful light(ing).
Absolutely beautiful work and a beautiful chair. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Really enjoyed the video, the aesthetics are fantastic and it was good to see some clever tricks like using the laser to drill holes with handdrill at correct angle. Good job!
Well done. Master craftsman.
Fantastic video, beautiful footage and good content!

So excited to watch this! I'm sure its hard to appreciate the amount of work that goes into making one of these beauties, but to get a brief glimpse into into your process and craftsmanship like this is a real treat. Thanks for sharing. Looking forward to the next one already!
That's much appreciated 👍🙏👍🙏
This was great to watch, I'm definitely looking forward to more videos really hope you stay active on CZcams you can definitely be big man
Beautiful. Craftsman.
Beautiful craftsmanship of both video and woodwork. Just found you guys, looking forward to see more.
The workshop tools and skill set to do this is beautifully shown in your video. I Subbed straight away. My favourite bit was the aze chopping the seat. 💯😍💯😍😎
Beautiful, thanks for sharing
Stunning.
Well I admire the skill and result but I don’t think I’d ever have the patience to make this. Very well done !!
Beautiful craftsmanship! Congrats to you both!
🙏
Great job
A beautiful modern take on a traditional chair. I have made a few Windsor chairs over the years but using a more traditional form, a far more haphazard method and achieving rather less beautiful results. Some really useful techniques on display: A laser level as an angled drill guide! Who knew? Nice little drying kiln for the spindles and leg ends. And the doohickey for levelling the bottom of chair legs - so much better than my block of wood with a pencil taped to it. I've got to make something similarly adjustable. Brilliant.
Finally, you are on CZcams! So awesome! I learn a lot from your Instagram page and greatly looking forward to these videos! Thank you!
😁👍
great video, chair looks very stylish and very comfortable - not an easy build either.
Necesito más de esto.
Felicidades y saludos desde Mexico 🇲🇽
I so like your style of leaving tool marks in all the right. Let the work take you on a journey. I would almost give anything to spend time with a craftsman such as yourself. To learn how to make one of those. I build furniture and have always wanted to create something such as that. I've no craftsman in my area to learn from and share ideals. I live in Southern WV. Great Job My Friend.
Beautiful
Video and editing is as beautiful as your work. Top notch presentation. This relaxed me so much I think my blood pressure dropped 10 points in 14 minutes. More please. Subscribed and can not wait for my first notification.
Would love to see the construction of your kiln.
excelent work!, congrats. Cheers.
This superb quality and knowledge reminds me of Ishitani Furniture. You are the real Craftsman! Keep on going!
Chair very beautiful
Huge work and a really great result. Awesome that you were able to break it down to 14 min. 👍 I know it’s hard do decide what to leave out.
Amazing work
what a dedication ..i must say :)
Very nice!
Parabéns 👏🏻👏🏻 excelente trabalho!!!
Guauu que impresionante trabajo. Dios quiera que yo algun dia pueda hacer algo asi
nice. Hmm,, you could sharpen the end of a wrench to act as a fixed diameter cutter for the spindle tenons.
Amazing.
What an absolutely beautiful chair and a very well made video ! I’m just starting to go down the rabbit hole of making chairs, a good friend of mine is going to teach me, hopefully I will be able to make something as beautiful as this one day !
Well how's it going?
@@pmacc3557 very well actually, I have a Windsor chair under my belts and a good few stools made now
That is very cool
최고 입니다......!
Linda, parabéns pelo trabalho.
Love it
Just wow
Очень красивый стул!
明明完整、认真地看着你完成了它,但我还是没学会,真惭愧。
perfect
Pls make more videos like this
wow great content
Such a lovely chair and what fine craftsmanship. Amazing.
CZcams recommended me this video. Which is quite odd and scary because I was just watched Ishitani Furniture built a spindle chair this week too. But the craziest part of this is that Ishitani is a Japanese craftsman with a white dog, while you are a Western craftsman with a black dog. What are the coincidence? 😂
Great content! Thanks for sharing this! I’m curious about the two extra holes on the bottom…guessing that the two center spindles go all the way through the bottom? Thanks again!
Nice.
i enjoyed that thank you its beautiful. i wonder what the tool for shaping the seat was besides the adzes and card scraper
thanks for putting this up.. I have my plans and looking for some suitable timber - cheers from down under.....
Excellent! Please make sure to share your build with us when you get going!
Beautyfull ❤️
Impressive ! You’ve custom tweaked many steps
he is wearing one of the world biggest shirts
Amazing video. I want to be a carpenter.
I'm sold
