Typical, an easy repair ignored turns into a major problem. Was an associate member many years ago and its good to see that the club is still going strong and in good hands. Might rejoin!
having attended a public meeting today i understand CRT are looking to put in a temp repair within the next week and a permanent repair before Christmas. You mentioned CRT and EA but i believe the local authority are the riparian owner of the piece of land (or gap as it is at the moment). they are building a road way through tracks along the nearby lakes to get vehicle access. I believe this access has been a big part of the problem. not sure who is responsible for the lakes.

You are lucky to have these gentleman running your waters. Hope it gets fixed ASAP 🙏
I hope the EA take some action and do the work to help get it sorted asap . Just a good club with awesome waters.
