I love finding these cars. Heritage Motors was my family’s company. I still have multiple cars and the promotion car hauler they used for car shows. I walked the assembly line as a kid learning to turn wrenches for the first time. Were the car modernization features everyone’s cup of tea? No, but it helped sell the cars for more profit.

@angipang most of which, it appears, never got completely finished. They're just too difficult and complex for most people. They were designed to accomodate liability and safety concerns at Budget, not just the egos of consumers. In other words, if you find one that's completed by a competant builder you'vd got a real car, not a kit car.

After Budget rental liquidated their inventory of this car, which they custom commisioned 150 of, the builder decided to market it to the public.
