What is going on everybody, this is TGA, and in today's video, we've another one from Northern Ireland, this time at the Chinese Consulate in Belfast, and they weren't fans of the camera or drone at all, trying to tell me because it's a diplomatic site, I can't fly my drone anywhere near it. Pretty sure they were Chinese Secret Police, not too sure. Enjoy the video folks.
They chopped down 7 or 8 trees that were over 100 years old and built a wall all without planning permission and just laughed at the council 😂
Sorry this is Belfast Northern Ireland not a city in China ! We have freedom in this country.

It was very nice of them to open the gate so we could get a proper look see up the sweep of the drive . really lovely building . Although obviously flustered they still remained civil and non hostile .
Yeah that’s true, they were gathering intel on me though, so if I ever went to China I’d probably get arrested
The consulate at 77 Malone was originally known as MacNeice House constructed 1889 and typical Victorian merchant villa style. Constructed as home for the Barbour's Mill owner then home of Irish poet MacNeice. Afterwards used as a university residence hall then offices for Arts Council of Northern Ireland before the Chinese Consulate (and added industrial estate style lighting around the property). On the same grounds is 75 Malone known as Benvue constructed 1876 and included the gate pillars still in use, (edit) Benvue was later demolished and now the residential housing behind the consulate and included the stone wall to the right. It's definitely NOT Chinese airspace above the property. The land itself is not sovereign Chinese territory either. It's a fallacy. By international convention it has most of the rights it would as Chinese territory but not all of them.
Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations 18th April 1961 Article 22 (1) states _'The premises of the mission shall be inviolable.'_
The premises of an embassy or consulate (etc) remain under the jurisdiction of the host state while being afforded special privileges (such as immunity from most local laws) again by the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations.
However, this does not include the airspace above those premises which (in the UK) remains under CAA control.
You be careful, check they haven't put a track on him.😂

Ask your friendly local special branch unit about the half dozen chinese "police stations" scattered about the UK. They are located in shops, business premises and private houses. Their official purpose is to provide support for chinese nationals living in the UK. They are staffed by members of the MSS (secret service) and they monitor and coerce chinese dissidents to silence their activities.
We have the same in canada, they also try to interfere in our politics.
