In this DCS World Simulator video I'm in the MiG29 Fulcrum trying an IR challenge against the F14 Tomcat flown by TELEX (thanks so much for the help buddy). Hope you guys enjoy!
I love playing simulators, I started with Arma 3 and then I saw DCS World. I also enjoy War Thunder , Battlefield , Ghost recon, Squad , Rome total war, Microsoft Flight Simulator and more. I also enjoy World War II games including il-2 In DCS World i found all the jets that i wanted to fly in a simulator the F 16 Viper , FA 18 Hornet , F 15 Eagle , A 10 Warthawg , SU 27 , Mig 29 , P 51 , Spitfire , AH 64 Apeche , Heuy and more... And if you will download MODs the options are endless: F 22 Raptor, SU 57 , A 4 Skyhawk , SR 71 Blackbird , Rafale, Gripen and the list goes on.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 5950X 16-Core Processor 3.40 GHz
GPU: Geforce RTX 2080ti
RAM: DDR4 Corsair 3200 MHz 32 GBB (total of 4 sticks so 128 GB in total)

Another entertaining masterpiece. LS! I've said it before but can't say it enough, your frantic tone really sells the danger and excitement. "No-no-no- no- no... Oh Shiiiii...it!!!!" Heeheehee!! The Mig-29 is a really beautiful jet that most often got its ass kicked in real life air to air, but I feel that's only because it didn't get enough love (even from the Russians) in upgrading its sturdy capabilities to its full potential. Had that been the case, all those conflicts of the 1990's could have ended very differently. Really enjoyed this video, dude 👍

I love my American jets like F14 and F16, but the MIG-29 is a beautiful thing , F22 and 35 are some of the best looking Jets ever built IMO I love the double tail wing look myself

Editing is on point🔥 dogfight was awesome, and that missile evasion was the coolest I've ever seen. Makes me wanna fly the MiG-29😂 sadly I cannot fly it as well as you do (hopefully one day)

I LOVE YOUR MATRIX DODGE_ that was a Longshot moment lol. I love this infrared Only challenge- - But it seems your opponent was using stealth tricks of their own- going cold, using TWS(it's funny, you hear initial beeps- and it's really him firing pheonixes in TWS to send you defensive- crazy, you hear the beeps, he's GOT YOU)
I think the counter would have been to find some STEEP valleys and mountains and go for a bit of distance thru them while using AWACS to keep track- that way no RWR notifications for him- and you can try to get to where his radar isn't looking- and then gank him Infrared style.
Interesting the fulcrum IRST isn't as good as the flanker one. LOL- what's funny here is the tomcat "should" have a IRST too(Doesn't in DCS sadly)- which would let him do the sneaky infrared only approach as well if he sought out steep valleys on the approach

you did a great job defeating the missile. you did the right thing. people really don't understand that you can (not always) defeat a missile shot like that at close range. there is a method to it, but the conditions have to be right.

What is difference between fulcrum vs flanker optical targeting ? how do they differ ?
From what I understand, the Su27's radar has controllable elevation, like how a radar typically does. Mi-29's doesn't.
wanted to ask how you get these super close up shots from the planes with the camera still attatched to it? and how did you get 4 r27's on the mig?
Pretty sure its a modded loadout and missiles. It says 27ET1 which is not a vanilla missile

Seeing those R-27ET work is pretty cool, but alas not much situation these would be good against the AIM-54 with their stupid long range.

I'm hoping that this strategy can be used on the mig-23. Finding documentation on if the irst can slew ir seeker heads without the radar being on has been difficult.
Guys can somebody please tell me how the F-14B outrates the MiG-29 (i watched growling sidewinder videos on the F-14B vs MiG-29 and everytime he goes into the rate fight the Tomcat wins) is it the MiG-29 is underperforming or the tomcat is better in the rate fight?
