Since I was a free to play, I had the big brain idea to try and beat them at their own game by going Pyro, and airblasting them whenever they shoved someone. It quickly descended into a two-hour shove duel, and that's one of the most precious memories I have of TF2: the two Shortstop scouts named "wallop mc snazzypants", and his daring sidekick "the moose".

One of my favorite tf2 stories was around mid 2020, when I got back into tf2. I hadn’t played since gun mettle, so almost everything was different to me, including the shortstop. I was playing on Hightower and some default scout walked up to me, shortstop pushed me about half a foot into a wall, and ran away. The whole thing was so stupid that I fell out of my chair laughing
Damn I wonder how Soundsmith feels now that trolldier is viable in invite level comp tf2 Edit for context: jayhyunpae, a soldier main in NA invite, played pocket soldier for Froyotech, and he permanently ran the market gardener, making a lot of incredible plays. Nubbi also ran the market gardener for a while iirc. Soldier mains began using it and it's more and more common.
I get a dopamine shot everytime soundsmith uploads a video, especially on tf2. This game gives me a sort of nostalgic feeling everytime i see it, moreso than any other game. Im glad you still find it fun to play, and im glad youre diversifying your content so you dont burn yourself out and hate this game, and so you can reach more groups to be more successful. I didn't know anything significant about video games until 2015, and only found out about TF2 in 2020 I must say, this is truly a gentleman's game. The skill ceiling is incredibly high, and movement/ability combinations are unmatched. Kudos to the developers, it plays like a movie.
I was once in a 2fort server where they said cap if gay so i was like "can i cap then" and the guy who said is was dumbfounded i think cuz he said "then cap if... Bisexual". The server decided on "cap if you like velma" in the end
