Something tells me the guy who made the map not only didn't playtest with multiple people, or test how much speed you get from that checkpoint being so close, but also playtested with a maxed out cutsom vehicle. That is literally impossible to complete and I think you'd need a custom vehicle to beat it.
If the creator used a maxed out custom vehicle so could they, and in the vid it’s proven that they could only choose out of those 2 vehicles, the creator would have needed to use one of those vehicles as well. The problem is that they had “catch up” enabled so the person in first would go slower and the person in last goes faster.
@@joshuapasterkamp232 but they don't pick maps based on the vehicles.... so if those two vehicles are the same ones that the creator has as maxed out custom vehicles but the people playing the map don't then it becomes an issue

JEROME ITS BECAUSE OF THE CATCHUP. IT MAKES THE PERSON IN FIRST GO SLOWER!
I rhought it made the people behind first have more speed, not slow first down.
Kyle Curtin my friends and i had the same problem on different map nobody could make it because every time they got the first place mark they went slower with catchup on because when we did it without we all made it

Loving the great work you are doing by making everyone smile.
You should all try going in first person when doing corkscrews in races, the steering gets easier and the camera doesn’t flip. Also cars in gta go ever so slightly faster in first person for whatever reason. It’s a speed run tactic. So first person next time :)
Also turn off catchup for these maps

One thing I have learned with these type of stunt races, is to have catchup off, because it slows down first place so that everyone else can catch up. That’s why they are struggling

When doing loops in gta, I find it easier to do first person pov because the screen doesn't alter as much.(It's only slightly better, I don't recommend this whilst driving normally in races though.)
His problem wasn't that he couldn't get the angle right, it was that you physically cannot beat it without having a maxed out custom vehicle... unless you're steve for some reason cause he got it and missed the checkpoint like a nub. But yeah you can't beat it. Still though, that is a good tip and I hope Jerome notices it.
@@alexanderelderhorst2107 Yes, the angle is quite important as you try to change it the speed drastically declines. But I think the bigger problem had to do with the POV changing abruptly, because on the 2nd loop Jerome couldn't stay on track and had done him over each time he attempted.(Reason I mentioned 1st POV is, because it doesnt switch angle when you do loops.) I agree with your point that steve got lucky xD.

How do you find these races? I play on Xbox but I can only do rockstar created or verified?
Oh joy... a blade approved map
You can't do it cuz of two things. First, the Vagner (your car) is bad because it have a bad acceleration and top speed. Second, in the option setting, there's a catchup setting. This setting make the person in last going faster and the person in first slower. Personally, I hate this setting because it's make thing impossible sometime.

Nathan DelRio No the problem was that they had catchup mode on and because whoever developed races decided to not be smart instead of making last place faster it makes first place slower so it was physically impossible
