    Hi, great to see Bhutanese taking initiative!!
    Also just stating that “one security deposit” can be anything from 1 month to 12 months as per the renter agreement if it is only asked once before taking up the apartment. The amount is not specified by the act. I may be wrong and might be best to confirm with a lawyer but that’s how the grammar for that tenancy act article seems to play out. 👍

    • @Vloggy_VlogVentures
      @Vloggy_VlogVentures  Před měsícem

      But as per the tenancy act of bhutan it stated that not more than one months security deposit shall be asked.And the amount is not specified in the law because the monthly rent defers with different owners building. So it’s difficult to be stated in the law, though I’m not a lawyer, it’s for the best interest to not specify the amount.

    The two month advance eviction notice by the owner to the tenant can be found in the tenancy act of bhutan 2015 under chapter 8 section 77. I think it's also mentioned there in the 2004 tenancy act. I Hope this information helps you in the future.

    Small information i would like to add, The rental agreement given by Dzongkhag Human Settlement Sector to all the building owner it says how much you gonna stay. Can be renew but renewal notice of 2 months. and for security deposit should not exceed two months rent. Negotiate the owner if you cant pay security deposit for 2 months and please get receipt of security deposit. rent increase can be done after only 2 years 'of you staying' with 10% of your rent.
