I’m running them tires on my 05 Ford Ranger FX4. It’s been a good tire accept for one problem. When the tire wears half way they’re garbage. The outer channel has a piece of rubber blocking it once it wears half way down. I found that out last winter in the snow when my tires wouldn’t clear the snow. I bought a tire sipper, cut that piece of rubber out of the groove and they worked great again. It’s time for new tires again and I’m going with the Falken Wildpeak AT3W’s in a 265/75R16. I put a leveling kit on my truck. I can problem run a 285/75R16 but my gas mileage sucks already.
check out those red and black caliper covers..they remind me of the wheel skins and they say Nissan on them.I was gonna get them but then I gotta take off my wheels.hehe.tires look good!give an update on them after some wear.
Luke, does this tire make road noise at 65mph and over? I’m hearing some noise and feeling some vibration so I’m trying to troubleshoot. Could it be the tire causing these issues?
I've used mastercrafts for years. They only last me a couple years, but when I tried Toyos they only last 6 months longer. For the price difference, 6 month is worth it.
@@jamesnm21 Courser MXT. But I drive about 40K miles a year and do a lot of hunting and trapping on some pretty rocky and rough roads. The MXT's have gone up $75 a tire on amazon since I last got them so last week I put the AXT2 on my truck instead. Haha they are a lot quieter. We'll see how long they last, but being 10ply, I'm guessing they will last just as long.
How those Mastercraft tires holding up? Any shaky steering wheels or odd noises? I just ordered some of their snow tires and just trying to find out if they hold up.
Awesome tires not loud great traction off road and most importantly even wear, I mean u can rock 37s do it put 33s are enough I don’t wanna strain a v6 motor ya feel. I would recommend the tires
With that size tires does the front tires rub? I wanted to do the same but other videos with the same lift and tires cut the front plastic fenders off?
@@lukelittle2065 appreciate the videos got a 2019 frontier about to do the same, doing a supreme suspension spacer and shackle lift just trying to decide what tires to use I already took off the air dam and got a bull bar mounted thanks for the videos I also like to play music too but, on the ukulele like the look of the truck keep it up
Truck looks great, but a body lift doesn't really do anything to help with ground clearance...the body will be higher by an 1" but all your drive-gear and suspension will be at the same height as before. Don't get me wrong, it'll definitely give it the look you're after, but won't do anything to increase ground clearance
have you heard of Coil bucket contact with these spacer lifts i hear so many complaints on forums about how these destroy you upper control arms but curious to know if you have experience it on yours
When I first put the kit on I thought that was going to be a problem. It just didn't seem like there was enough clearance in there but I don't know because I never drove it like that because I put high clearance control arms from all dogs Offroad at the same time and they work like a dream with that kit.
Usually a 2.5" will cause CBC. Kinda depends on how you drive and if your roads are bad. Factory configuration states that a 2" or anything under youll be fine. Anything over a 2" lift and you could get CBC. I'm on the fence. Either going to be purchasing the 2.5 kit with Freedom Off-road UCAs, or just getting the 2.0" lift from supreme. This will be on my 3rd gen Frontier.
@@tc3881 I love the 2.5" with the UCA's. 3 it's totally worth it for the extra half inch it makes all the difference but some people just want to level it for minimal money. For them I recommend only 2" I have a 2nd gen
I put a black and red Nissan emblem on the tailgate. It is a little bigger cause it is for a titan. I replaced the plastic that the emblem is attached to and I don't know if you would see the marks of the old one if he tried to use the same plastic. But whether you replace the old plastic piece or not I think it would look good on your rig cuz yours is red. Mine is white but it still looks good I love it
Add a light bar next. My frontier is black. Thinking about blacking out my front grill and tailgate emblems with platidip. Then getting the 2in lift kit from rough country.

Hey y’all thanks for watching! 285/75/16 translates to 32.8 by 11.2 but mine are 11.5 wide. Good tires tint works great if y’all have suggestions lmk!

Let's see it on some trails. Looks great man!
Oh it has been bro and it goes awesome!

Looking bad as hell my brother👍

What was the price on those tires? And how are they holding up?
I place K02 followed with bull guard and fog lights, same lift. Did very well off roading in the mountains of Colorado.
Mine goes very well to man! I got like 16 inches of ground clearance and it’s nimble

Well it depends on mileage to what a couple years means but I agree they are a lot cheaper and just as good a tire
Which model?

where's the toolbox from??
It doesn’t rub the mud flaps? Did you have to trim running 285/75 16s?
Doesn’t rub at all and just took the front air dam off
