Before setting IMEI backup original incase you want to restore it later Important because it is not located anywhere else!
    Repair IMEI command:
    AT+EGMR=1,7,"YOUR IMEI HERE”
    Example:
    AT+EGMR=1,7,"123456789012345”

Thanks for this video. Been contemplating getting a MUDI V2 in order to bypass the throttle on my phone’s (provider) hotspot. Do you know where I can learn more about this sort of stuff?

Well the points that I mentioned in the video are the most important things, I have another video about the Spitz ax GL- X3000 which is another Cellular router from GL iNet that I went more into detail with and if you watch that video a lot of it applies to the MUDI V2 also. Some of the stuff I learned on Google other stuff was trial and error.

I have this one right now with external antenna mod with 3d printed TPU and Apex TG.66 4g antennas (very cool antennas), It is very secure and I rarely have issues with it, but I was looking into getting the netgear m6 pro mr6500 and modding that since it has 5g and 5g mmwave capabilities. Do you have experience with such?

oh I just saw your video on the m6, I'll take the gamble and see if I can use your tool on it

I've been thinking about doing this mod as I have seen it improves the signal quality

Thank you for your videos. I have been using a custom 5G router with the RM510Q-GL, but due to my current CPU limitations, I'm looking for an open-source gateway that supports mmWave. Preferably one that allows me to use my RM510Q-GL modem so I don't have to buy another one. Is there any chance you know of one? Thank you for your time and your videos.

It looks like that 5G module uses MHF 7S receptacles / connectors for the millimeter wave antenna along with 4 other receptacles, I was not able to find a mmwave antenna with that connector but I guess you would need that antenna and a device with PCIe Gen 3 driver support for that module. If you're running Linux or Windows it looks like there are drivers for that module. It would definitely be a project but you might be able to build your own router from a computer with the slot. I'm not sure if there is a cellular router on the market with mmwave support and PCIe Gen 3 module support.

What router do you recommend for Visable?

The GL iNet Spitz AX GLX3000 worked about as well as my phone did on Visible. I'm still waiting on a good OpenWRT based portable 5G hotspot option to be available in the market.

    Not understanding exactly.
So i cannot use the imei # from my at&t phone?
Do i need to get another phone?
Great job on video,im just a little tech challenged

You just need some IMEI of a phone that you know will not be used in the same cellar network simultaneously by two devices. It could be a spare phone or unique IMEI number that you can obtain and be sure it will not be used somewhere else.

@@developer-of-things What about using a 5g tablet from at&t. If I use the IMEI # from the tablet. What APN name should be used Broadband or nrbroadband? The Samsung tablet is set to nrbroadband. Thanks

@@JoseGutierrez-qd3xj It sounds like your SIM card from the tablet requires nrbroadband, your SIM card determines the APN name to use
