- Brandon was a walk on turned All American at the University of Arkansas. He was drafted by the Indianapolis Colts and 11 days later was tragically killed in a car accident. The Brandon Burlsworth Foundation was founded in his name and has several programs: The Burls Kids program takes underprivileged children to all Arkansas Razorback and Indianapolis Colts home games. The BBF in partnership with Walmart provides eye care to 14,000 pre-K thru 12th grade students whose working families are trying, but still cannot afford extras like eye care and do not qualify for state funded programs. We hold football camps each year in Harrison and Little Rock and we have several football scholarship and awards including the Burlsworth Trophy, a national award given out to the most outstanding Division One college football player who began his career as a walk-on.
Who is here after watching the Netflix movie about this great football player and great man God bless him
Me 😭
Me
Same

Yes
After watching the movie I decided to become a better person.
Except Jesus bro he will set you free. You seen how happy it made him. God transforms anyone who follows him
brandon gave god glory and gods glory became brandon. think about that. give jesus glory. and really do it. lift his name on high. and he will lift you on high and his glory will become you. brandon is a walking miracle. he was literally going blind and jesus said you dont need your eyes rn. brandon had alot of faith in jesus. and jesus rewarded brandon. and jesus wants to do the same for you.
No literally the second after watching this movie I decided it’s time to devote my life to Jesus
Me too! What an awesome person he was! He never gave up!
Nice Nick...perfectly stated.
I really believe if Brandon had a chance to play, in the NFL with his work ethic he would have been in the Hall of Fame. He seemed to be that kind of player.
Bill Polian the gm for colts said they were so impressed by brandon burlsworth in mini camp that they thought he would start as a rookie protecting manning. Am interior line of burlsworth and Jeff Saturday would have been amazing
Best NFL offensive linemen are smart. Its what separates them from the rest
As a Saints fan I think that we would have lost the Superbowl to the colts. I love his story and it's so sad
@@ignitedtowel683 Sean Payton always loses big games. Without a doubt he wouldve lost the super bowl if God wasn't such a dick.
No doubt.
He would’ve blocked for Peyton Manning..God bless him and all the walk on’s!
What’s a walk on?
@@VinnyBarbarino1369 I college athlete that try's out for a team that wasn't given a scholarship to play. So they attended the college and then went to the coach to try out and play.
For Payton manning
@@Luvdkk thats legendary

I was so shocked at the end of the movie to learn it was a true story! 😭😭😭 I had to look him up. What a beautiful Christian and an amazing God for using him to inspire so many people.
That amazing god allowed him to die
Lmao I respect religion but when I see real shit like this dudes comment. I just gotta laugh
God had nothing to do with his success, and if he actually did have any intervention then it was a real cunty thing to allow him to get mowed down by a 18 wheeler 🙄
You trash need to shut your mouths! Bunch of atheists losers!!!
@@coalminer24605 ikr? But that's what atheists do... spread their cancerous gibberish. Funny, they remind me of someone from that movie. lol
RIP Brandon burlsworth we miss you even though you’ve been gone for sometime now but long live the legend
Thank you Brandon Burlsworth for following after Jesus...you won your race here on earth & won your race into Heaven....JESUS picked you out to lead others to you & their dreams that you showed could happen for anyone that no one believes in...GOD BLESS your family & from the bottom of my heart I thank you.
I never knew him but he changed my life and A LOT of others. God bless him, what a remarkable person.
Now he's blocking devils for us in the heavenly realm. Thank you, Burlsworth. I love you 😭🙏
College football and the NFL could use more players like him.
Society, both of the above are only reflections of us all.
Exactly too many thugs in pro amerocan sports.
Yeah we need another Brandon not another Kaepernick
@@c1berserker744 Yup. Fuck Colin Kaepernick.
@@truthbydesign5146 No one's insecure lol sounds as if you're describing yourself with that crybaby reaction to the truth.
The movie and the story of this guy came on me at the right moment. So much respect Brandon Burlsworth!
I'm not going to say R.I.P. because he's doing so much in heaven 🙏 and still inspires people here and now. A living legend and now an immortal angel. A+ guy and great family. Keeps us humble and grinding.
i almost cried after watching the movie based on him🥺. Rip brandon and as a football player i’m now going to use you as a role model on and off the field. I love you 😢
Wishing you great success in your life! Following Brandon as your role model gives you a great chance! 🙂
ALMOST CRIED? I was almost hyperventilating I was crying so hard. Why can't the child molesters and other assorted criminals be the ones to die young instead of the good guys?
I'm from Harrison and what,I CAN tell u is Brandon was so much more even than. Portrayed or imaginable to average people in a small tow, no less.
I live in Harrison too! My name is Megan, what's yours? Bet we know each other.
@@taylorswiftreal8839 damn that's tough :/
Something special about this guy I can relate to the way he spoke and lived he had heart and had undying faith. Everyone of us is connected it amazes me how awesome God is how he uses us to help or confirm his teachings and to comfort us when we are struggling.
After watching the movie (three times!) I cry more each time. Tragic story. His memory lives on through every walk-on and any person who is overlooked. Brandon's story and life had a bigger picture and it's to inspire so many other people. Rest In Paradise Brandon!
We know one thing this man had faith and definitely inherited the kingdom of heaven RIP a legend🙏🏻✝️
I got to go on a trip with my church and I got to meet and talk to his family. So heartbreaking.
58 years young African-American I just want to say I had some issues in my life if you measured everybody's issues I'm sure somebody would choose someone else other. That's why God give us the hand to play with with that hand you can throw it in or receive it and walk away. The movie truly inspired me knowing that through Christ I can do all things I have faith today at this moment 2:29 p.m. Georgia time. No matter what you're going through if you forgot first and not try to figure it out for yourself let God lead you it's going to be tough the journey but you going to make it in Jesus mighty name God help us all.
i myself play rugby, and this guys story has inspired me to be a better player, put my head down and do the work....
He was an amazing human being, and an inspiration to all of us. I watched the movie, "Greater", and after viewing the short clips online I have no doubt that he was a great soul. He lives on in our hearts, and would keep blessing everyone who learns about his amazing life. Sleep on Brandon. Sleep in the bossom of our Lord.
Just watched greater. What a sad story. So far removed from this and it hit me right in the chest. I wanna be like the this man.

RIP Brandon B. Legend of football
Watched the movie today and I have resolved to live like this man. Even if I am half the man he was it would be a privilege.
This is the best football story I have ever seen!! And I don’t care for football. The movie “GREATER” tells his true amazing story. You will cry and laugh and cheer. His life story will change your life. His life touched so many while he was alive. His life continues to touches the lives of people still today and will for many years to come. Be sure to watch the movie.
His story gave me CHILLS
Click "LIKE" if the movie Greater brought you here. This guy was a beast 💪💪
What a wonderful young man he was. Only the good die young for some reason. God has a funny sense of humor. Peace brother.
Damn I just watched the movie greater SO SAD 😞 LIKE REALLY HE SHOULD HAVE JUST STAYED 😪always the good ones that make it somewhere in this life we live R.I.H Brandon Burlsworth You were outstanding 🤕
“I played against walk ons coach, HE IS NOT A WALK ON” if you know you know RIP BB 🙏🏽
I don't know how but I'm a life long Arkansas resident, lived in NWA for 5 years and my dad is a HUGE Razorback fan and this is the first time I've heard about him.. Insane story. So sad too, I can't believe he was only 22. People looked so much older back then, high schoolers looked like adults, now you see college students that look 17 lol. What a great player and piece of Arkansas history.
Just saw the movie "Greatest"... What an inspirational film! I had heard of the Burlsworth trophy, but honestly knew nothing about it. Glad to have been able to see the film and learn more about this man. It is so sad, yet so inspirational too. I think we know a Burlsworth in one shape or another. You can find this film on Netflix, it is worth a watch or more. Great men and stories as his needs to be known to all.
What a great guy.
We will never forget you. You are awesome and I hope I would be able to see you in heaven. Thankyou for helping me push though hard times and hope I will be I you one day. Love you Brandon Burlsworth.

this story got to me ;( this is a big deal people need to wake up from this and now their life and be gone at any time of the day
Amazing film and real life guy. Thanks for the inspiration
Given all the self-righteous knockheads we see today in the NFL, Burlsworth was an inspiration.
I watched the movie before knowing who Brandon was. He was an inspiration to many. Believe in yourself and don't give up on your dreams. That was Brandon.
Do it the Burl's Way.
He is the greatest player in Arkansas history
thank you burlsworth for leaving a mark on this crappy world, leaving good in it.
I just watched the movie and it brought tears rip #77
Just watched his movie on Netflix... very touching!
I wore 77 in college completely by coincidence and when I learned about his story I was so proud to wear it
This world could use more guys like Brandon. God bless you !!
This man is an inspiration to the world!!! God used him as a key. To the locks of each and every one of us.
I cried my eyes out 🙏🏼❤️
Wow $10,000 from an organization worth 800,000 to a billion dollars is amazing. His family is set for life. Go Colts!
Right😂, the owner spends that on coke and strippers every night
I just watched the movie Greater and I was raised about 70 miles south of harrison in Dover Arkansas and it touches me
Remember bawling my eyes out while the watching the movie based on him back in 2017 in my health class, sounds like a great guy, RIP 🕊
I just saw the movie and what an inspiring person
i cry everytime......
I didn't know who he was to I watched the movie and all tho his life was cut short he is still a inspiration for me. RIP BB ❤😊

Gone to soon🙏 May he rest in peace🕊 Beautiful heart and soul❤
I can't stop crying after watching the greater god bless his soul🙏🙏
This is awesome. What a great character. Such a good Christian. So sad he was cut short
Such a beautiful soul that was lost❤️🕊
He set the tone for walk ons. Baker Mayfield has won his award twice. Look at Baker now leading the Browns. Amazing
Rest easy big man 💚🙏
In my book as a life long Colts fan Burlsworth will always be a Colt. R.I.P
He was Great .
God is greater
Mehran Yousefian did you even watch the movie?
Strainings Yes , one of the best biography movies. He really was the great person.
I’m just so happy that this beautiful angel’s story is staying alive & inspiring for so many young people who may have been told those two words “You can’t” but responded “I can”.....for WHATEVER REASON not just football & not just young people in many situations. God, please continue to bless Brandon’s Foundation, his family and using his story to uplift others and bring them closer to You. ❤️😢🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼😢❤️
God bless this man. What an inpsiration. The movie used his actions by worshipping God to convict me of my sins. I am nowhere near as faithful as he was. But wow, I need to be better. Thank you Brandon Burthsworth. Thank you to the actors as well. You were a great player.
Greater is the greatest football movie ever.
Sad that his life ended so short, just let's us know life is short,as a truck driver it truly saddens me that tragedies happen!..R.I.P Brandon!
Such a wonderful man that I believe could’ve been a huge success in NFL. His story has changed my outlook on life in many ways. It just don’t make sense sometimes how God works.
Just like the movie, so kind
omg i watched the movie yesterday and today at school and it was great!!!!
Thank you God for 22 years of inspiration 🙏 to the whole world. Pitiless indifference.
One word. RESPECT. Nuff said
