Bro I was the track leader of fox safari group co, we used to cross the great sand sea using the Toyota Troop carrier, Anyway When stuck 4x4 L & slowly 5 to 7 rpm this is the trick and for your safety please look for maxtrax or sand matts it will help you greatly in any difficult situation like this
All the respect bro & stay safe
Low range, diff locks if you have them, and low tire pressures for sand. Also don't do anything sudden on sand, drive smooth and keep momentum up. On sand you should always stop facing downhill when possible. I've wheeled Unimogs a lot in all manner of conditions. You didn't say what you dropped your tire pressures to but from the look when you drove out you could run half that pressure on sand if you need to. There should be a significant sidewall bulge when aired down for dry sand. With a nice bulge in the tires I think your truck would have gone anywhere in that little desert.
What a lovely couple and of course the two pupsters, life is for those that live it, so folks go out there and live it, this is a one time event there is no re-runs enjoy.
Yep low gear, deflate tyres, Max Traxs we got bogged in sand 2 x in Western Australia...oh what fun that was
They only way to learn and gain experience is by doing it. Well done. You will look back at this and laugh how easy it is years from now😁
Well said 🙏🍀That’s what we say 😜
See ya when we see ya 👋

And....you really need a full sized shovel, rake, and four MaxTrax. And I’d seriously consider getting a Deadman XX.
Cheers buddy had a good lesson in your adventure, while fabians is suffering, isebella, bosco and uni are enjoying in the dessert, nice to see you guys, move on and vlog more, lots of love to you all
You did exactly what you’re supposed to do when stuck in the sand, just make sure When you’re in Mexico on the Beach to stay above the high tide mark seen many people Buried in the sand and the tide came in. 👍👊😎
I love your videos, you learned how to deal with a sand situation.
You did a great job!
🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
Always air down, Low rang gear and Diff clocks on, And don't loose momentum (Just keep going, Not stop to talk to your misses). You also should get and update your recovery gear !!
Thanks for sharing and showing. Great video. And well done 👍 you did it 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
From 🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺
Keine Sorge, Fab! you did well! watching your adventures from Tulsa, Oklahoma....keep 'em coming! Gute Reise!
Getting stuck in sand is a right of passage. When it happened to me the first time a tide was coming in and I was so freaked out hah. Nice job getting it out and airing down before getting too stuck
Your dogs have fun dig the sand, you two still have happy face 😄
Met you and your "better" i/2 in the drive way in ALASKA... You guys were a blast (lot of fun) to watch and listen too. SAFE TRAVELS ♥
Basco dando um apoio moral !😅😅😅
Al ver el Fabián jugando con el coche en la arena me he acordado de verlo jugando con otro en la nieve en Alemania! 😂😂😂que buen que ha salido todo bien. 😘😘😘
Just found out about your channel from HisandHers Vlogs. Have now watched many of your videos and they are all fantastic. You are showing us all "how to do it!!" Thanks for your interesting journey
Genial Saludos cordiales desde Patagonia Chile
Good tip --- carry spair tyre valve cores, they do leak if keep using them < very little cost / very little storage room > also keep away from wet sand it can bury you You are lacking some basic equipment though very entertaining allthough we have all been there it made me smile.
Well, so far so good 😊 thanks for your detailed eye 😂😂 Fabian is known to jump into situations and then figure things out 😂😂 we actually found a board for sand in Alaska in the side of the road ... took it with us for one year ... then we gave it away because no need ... let’s hope we will not need the sand boards ... thanks for watching all the best from Mexico at the moment ...
See ya when we see ya 👋

@@LiveandGive4x4 Yes I have noticed he is a Bull in a china shop then thinks later, but he comes across as a gentle giant type, noticed those rear lights are prone to damage might be worth a secondary pair of lights on the base of the rear van body easy job they are surface mounted also a large bull bar on the front as your going to wild animal countrys.
Yep, the lights I agree ... We thought about moving the existing ones up to the cabin... this way more stable ... well step by step 😂😂 we just added a motorcycle stand and I totally forgot about the lights 😉🙏👍🍀
See ya when we see ya 👋

Beautiful people.
Uff, problem resolved, let´s go on !!!
Gracias por compartir el video familia.
Bosco does not like conflict. LOL
Before getting completely dug in, back up, even a few inches and go back and forward to roll a solid area.
The white dog said at 3:31, "Boss, Im showing you how to dig. Get your cute shovel and dig." The black dog is laughing so hard in the background. Excuse my hahaha but I love your vids. Don't forget to buy 4 maxtrax next time. Cheers!
You really have to watch especially when you’re off throating, but you definitely have the right idea
All good mate your doing a great job try not to stress have fun with it also if your not sure youtube it lots of help out there peace out friends enjoy you got a new sub
We all Learn by Doing , Know You know how Your Vehicle likes Sand , all about the Adventure. Stay Safe
Yep 👍 correct ... thanks for watching
Good job getting out of that situation. Suggestion: Carry rubber mats or those small grates.
Good area for training South Amerika, no matter in desert or mud 🚛 ! Go on ...
Yes, I am laughing :D and yes you should use low range :D but you've probably worked that out by now haha xx
No need to stress about getting stuck, that is half the fun. As we say in the UK, if it's not working, put the kettle on, have a cup of tea and think about plan B :D
Even desert has evergreen trees in canada huh WoW
I see two animals like the desert, those dogs
🙏Finally offroud test. the differential locks on. doing good 😎🍺🍺
Kipon rogin ✌️ Huriganes bänd .. 🥃🍾🍺
You are lucky the sand is wet
Ha. The pups were trying to help dig the truck out.
Being on the road is all about new experiences and learning
Waiting for your vlog in washington dc , i saw your bimobil in dc.
air down until it looks like you have a flat tire , never brake until stop but let it roll to a stop the last meter , and if you get stuck make sure there is no buildup of sand in front of any wheel or you can start all over again . PS this was moist sand wait until You drive on dry sand or powder sand "fech fech" they call it in the Sahara Happy travels
rules for sand, low if very powdery or when its wet like that, low high. IMPORTANT, keep up your speed and do not stop start. If you do stop drive STRAIT back onto firmer sand then start in low/high and keep your speed constant. DO NOT turn your wheel until you have your speed up
Very good tips 👍🏼 we learned a lot driving on the beaches and dunes on our trip ... thanks for your comment and happy trails
See ya when we see ya 👋🏼
Fabian and Isabela
Airing down those tires looks like a pain in the ass!!
I use a 1/4” air hose to air down/up all four of my tires at once. It’s a pretty typical rig for those of us who wheel in the desert in SoCal. But your rims look like there’s not much room for a locking air chuck.
Would you be interested in doing a video on the ethics of how you're traveling (leave-no-trace outdoors ethics vs. seeing the world)? I think that would be pretty interesting.
Thanks for watching 🙏 and thanks for your comment ... see ya when we see ya 👋
You should carry 2 or 4 max tracks with you that’s a heavy truck
Thanks for watching 🙏🍀See ya when we see ya 👋 will See about the trax
Max Traxs are great in sand or snow. Money well spent!
I use 20 psi on sand and snow for 35 inch Wrangler Duratracs. I am not sure for your tires and rig, if you have beadlock wheels you can go lower.
Love You Guys!...When in trouble, get a BIGGER shovel and 6 max-tracs, lower the tire pressure and be in Low range with NO heavy throttle and relax!!...ps...If on the beach Beware of High Tides!!!!.....Bon Voyage!!!
Don’t forget tying sticks onto the wheel, do you have a winch ?
😂🍀😊 yep, thought about that ... no winch on Board , only for motorcycle 💪🙏🍀
Thanks for watching along 🙏👍🍀😊
See ya when we see ya 👋

I see that your back up generator is situated in a position where if you do river crossings it could get flooded is this not a problem?
I also noticed that your and other vehicles have the sola panels on the roof unprotected, is this not a problem when you and in areas that experience heavy hail storms?
it a guy thing and u did it thats a big rig to go play in the sand with but u DID IT good driving
You need to get self extraction runners.
👍👍
What is the normal air pressure of your vehicle? And on sand?
You know, learning by doing 🤭
You are still lucky. Your truck wasn't deep in the sand.
90 psi full ... now before I hit a beach or du es I lower to 40 psi 😂😉😎🙏 Thanks for watching 🙏🍀See ya when we see ya 👋
Listen to the wife Fabian less stress😂😂😂
What recovery gear do you carry for WHEN (not if) you get stuck stuck... I hope you have proper equipment! a winch and a ground anchor at the very least I hope.
I have an electric winch (you probably want hydraulic for that great thing :D) and a manual "TIRFOR" as my back up, loads of strops, a KERR rope (Kinetic Energy Recovery Rope), Tree straps, more shackles than you can shake a stick at and a couple of Snatch blocks to increase the pulling power when the pooh really hits the fan, as well as a couple of sand ladders and a ground anchor for when there is nothing sticking out of the ground to pull from... :)
Sorry Fabian that was funny😆...but you managed well.
Although is saw a big gamer on the dashboard, correct ?
If you have a accident this hammer can kill you ,flying objects are the the third reason for killing people in cars and trucks , the second is seatbelt .
I had once a rollover with my jeep 18 years ago in a collision and my wife was breastfeeding for the last 5 minuts my daughter from 3 month’s of the trip before we arrived at ore family in France , it was a long trip .
My wife sit behind in hear seat belt and not the daughter and she was projected on the car on the other side of the road on the hood of a other car that stoped there ,and our rollover stoped also on that car and 5 centimetres near here lies my fire extinguisher from 5kg with a big dent in the car ...she could being called by it .
Everybody was lightly wounded and turned out ok ,but I never keep loos objects in the car now ,not even a cola bottle from 1liter and a half !it breaks your neck ....
Bee safe and keep Vloging ,
See yah
You scare me to the did by the drums
Hallo Ihr Weltenbummler. Wo in Kanada ist denn dieser sonderbare Erdenfleck?
Carcross desert bzw. Carcross ist ein kleines Dorf im yukon mit ca. 150 Einwohnern ... dort gibt es auch diese kleine Wüste ... thanks for watching 🙏🍀 more on www.patreon.com/Liveandgive4x4
I feel your frustration, suddenly your family's home is stuck in the sand, it's a man thing to be responsible for your family's safety.
Hold my bear and watch this
Hey ,that was not a critic he Fabian it was just a safety advise ,my righting in English is not so good and sometimes misunderstood.
I wish I could support you and right you a time ago about my situation ,I am self employed maintenance mechanic and I am sick now almost for a few years and now from February at home and in Belgium not so good supported and people help us financially to support our life it is on of my dream of starting to go on the road with my G wagon ...I will show you on Facebook.
This nothing compared to a hot & dry sand. It will be very nice to have a CTIS (Central Tyres Inflation System) system installed
But you are still not there and stuck!!!
We moved on safely yes 😂😂😂
quick question: how do you manage to travel without income?
great video, i really enjoyed !!!!
Www.patreon.com/Liveandgive4x4 🙏🍀👍 together we can make a difference... thanks for watching 😉🙏😎
I think your RV is not the best to drive on sand, too heavy, yes best is less air and low-range you can make it out as you did, but bit more dig on the sand maybe you will not make it out, so best is not to try.. if more vehicles are there then help is with you so some how can make it out. however you did a good job..dont try your luck again..we want to see you moving.. good luck. come to California soon please.
No, you did it correctly, always have the parachute... if you go into the area with low range, which you should do, and low air... you have nothing to improve upon to get yourself out... I go in with Posi-lock two wheel, then maybe four, but save the locker and low air as the parachute to get back out... Keep up the great work... Not sure where you are, but if you make it to FL give me a call... www.AirBoatUSA.com Option 7 will ring my cell. God bless, Gary... free 50 amp and full hookup... and lots of boating too.
Dummy!!! LOL!!!
Thanks, we understood 😂😂
NO stay off sand too big of a vehicle!!!
Made it though 😂😉🙏😎thanks for watching
NEVER GO IN LOW RANGE IN SAND, HIGH RANGE BETTER
Thanks, we are learning and low range still helps, depending on the situation you are in ... 👍🙏😊 in that case I agree😂😂
I don't like to say it, but how stupid can you get? Drive directly into trouble? Why not drive into a lake and see what happens?
