Your tier is very similar to mine. I feel the same way as you about Pete Beale. Yes, he’s kind of the village idiot...but he’s OUR village idiot. It makes him rather endearing despite his MANY flaws.
My Julia’s theme tier is the same as you except I have Pauline in it. Yes, she changed and became very bitter and grouchy over her last few years, but it doesn’t take away from her many years as the rock of the Fowler family. Look at all of the iconic moments she has been a part of too: Arthur and the frying pan, helping Mark cope with HIV, the wonderful conversation where she buried the hatchet with Pat etc.
This was a lot of fun! Would love to see another of these tiers. Might I suggest a 90s-themed character ranking? 😉
OMG, I thought I was the only person in existence who hated/still hates Nick Cotton. What a one-dimensional bore. Same thing every episode: trying desperately to look and be menacing but failing miserably. That's exactly what MADE him so corny!!!. I could not agree more. He was a joke! Thanks for putting Sharon in Julia's Theme. I love her current storyline with Keanu's baby and Phil soon finding out -- very exciting! I cannot WAIT for the Christmas episode! Peace to you.
The original Mark was great looking and added more layers to the character.
Todd Carty only had hiv and bad relationships.

Watching classic eastenders over holiday and I really like ali ngl haha, but I’m only at the beginning so that might change,,,,,
I would of put both Susan Tully and the Letitia Dean at the top as I love them
I disagree about Andy. He was fine. He just didn't know how to handle his emotions
