So how did it feel after removing it? Worth it?? Iv been on the fence about it doing it. Looking at the dyno, doesnt match my bike. With just a 13t front sprocket and riding faster it seems like Im never below 6k rpms anyway.
I didn't ride the bike before getting my ecu reflashed after this mod. I can tell you after the reflash and the mods the guy at best dual sport bikes recommends it really woke my bike up. Easily 20% more power and a good amount of torque at low rpms.
@@joshdoddadbod That's what I thought -- I've already been in contact with him. His videos indicate his flash is good for the KLX300 S through SM models. Except -- there is no S model. They make the regular KLX300 Dual Sport (like yours and mine), the SM (Super Moto with street tires) and the R model (dirt only). Either way -- I'm assuming you think the $350 flash is worth it? Did you do the slot cuts in the pipe and the 3/4 inch holes in the box? BDSB video show those 2 minor mods.
Bet you B putting it back on! 95% end up putting it back on the other well they sell the bike. Me not even messing with it, by the way you guys really need to stop copying others and do your thang.
@@GIJO the ecu reflash solves low rpm fuelling which has been the issue with removing the valve (which is what the valve is for). It just creates significantly more power in the low to mid rpm range (particularly mid range).

@@joshdoddadbod So..u have the ecu reflash back already?
@@tieoneon1614 yup I've ridden about 8hrs on it so far.
Who's doing your ECU reflash?
www.bestdualsportbikes.com/kawasaki-ecu-mapping
He has a series of videos on his CZcams channel explaining necessary and complimentary mods as well as the effect of his ecu remap

Did you use a ph2 bit
@@KentwoodWarrior I used the JIS but that comes in the tool kit. Not sure what specific size it is.
what in the world is a jas bit?
JIS Stands for Japanese Industrial Standard.
If its aluminum why not drill holes into it
horrible idea
@@RichRich-jl5oh why?
@@markaponte7057because then you have to get all then shavings out because it will cause issues

No it won't be going back on its a necessary mod for the ecu reflash to work properly.
@@joshdoddadbod then your 1 of the few that hasn't even with your ECU reflash!
