Crypto should be higher. I think your synopsis is subjective based on your experience rather than what his latent abilities have to offer to the game. His buffs made him really good and his kit is more suited for rank rather than pubs.

fr, if u know how to use him you will never be trading a gunfight for droning and will still be able to get plenty of value from ur drone. Throw in all his utility and his ability to hard counter any abilities that control and area…
Ballistic in F Tier is criminal.
He is so underrated and my 2nd main. His tactical and ultimate are just so good and people really do underestimate his abilities which is one of the reasons I main him 😀
caustic got an insane buff now that the damage stacks on gas cans up to 10 damageeeee
Its actually a nerf because it used to stack infinetly, so you could get gas ticks for 13 or 14 damage.
@@GamingCrusade- well since last season it’s a little buff but i think he’s in a good spot rn i can’t imagine back when caustic was broken good old rat trapping days 😂.
@@manicz0 yeah caustic was crazy back then lol, it is still a nerf this season because last season there was no cap on damage with gas but now it stops at 10
I’m curious does everyone think conduit is balanced or needs nerfs. I personally think she is in a balanced state right now.
I think so to. She is in a healthy spot rn and should stay where she is.

Can you explain your reasoning for having Pathfinder as your #1 solo-q selection as compared to Rev being S-Tier in ranked and path being B-tier for this video? I'm sure there's a reason, just trying to understand the difference knowing they're both solo oriented with pathfinder having more team benefit because of zips and recon. thanks (or i'd accept if you want to just claim that as of this moment, rev is a better soloq option, i can settle with that as well lmao) @ADeliciousMango
Hey Lando! I have Path in A Tier, and honestly he’s RIGHT on the border of S. If I were ranking legends numerically, Path is maybe only 2 or 3 spots behind Rev, so they are very close! I think Path is more useful to his team because of those Survey/Ring beacons, which give you intel + EVO points, while Rev is just a pure slayer (which is also important!). So for those reasons, I just think Path is a little better for solo queue!
I will make another “Solo specific” video in the coming weeks, I’m doing a Solo to Master next week, so that will help guide my rankings for that video!
@@ADeliciousMango cool, thanks for the response. I typically solo and just trying to find the best “mobile” soloq character to master. I’m good with both but want to master one of then so i can focus more on general game play
I really wonder why they gave Vantage such a large hitbox and not give her the fortified perk that Newcastle, Caustic and Gibby have. That has always bothered me about her. It would make so much sense for her.
Great video, it does suck to see some of my favorite characters in the lower tiers, but it is what it is, great job!
I totally understand! I’m a Loba main and she was AWFUL for several seasons in a row. Sometimes that’s how it is, but we can always hope for buffs!

Personally, i think crypto should bump up a rank (maybe two). With him being able to hit recon beacons/ respawn beacons from a safe distance and instantly. (Btw im a conduit main)

They need to just redo ballistics tactical. His ult is pretty decent. But his tactical is just so…meh. Like if it hits an enemy. It should disable one single weapon on them at random. That might be more impactful
I think crypto and ramp should go up 1or2 tiers
What can ramp do for her team in ranked besides place cover that’s easily breakable n her minigun is so situational for end game

My criticism on alter. People are throwing a FIT if they don’t get her as their pick. And when I let others pick her…they’re all genuinely the least aware and worst players I’ve seen in the history of apex. No awareness, no knowledge of skills. No aiming. No teamwork. They just think she’s edgy wraith and they want edgy goth girl
Honestly this has been my experience too 😂 I’ll be patient though and let people test her out of course, just like every new legend!
Crypto should at least be b tier. If your in you drone too much as crypto then you are not playing him. A good crypto can utilize his get very well and can make him an a-tier legend. He also received some very nice buffs especially the hackathon perk which is busted. I think you should give crypto more credit
What does he mean her wall of any as long as before. On release it went 55 meters and now with her perk it goes 60. That is very far

As a Wattson main, I feel like this is a pretty good tier list. Id probably rank Crypto a bit higher because he isnt terminally in the drone like you claim. Also Ive never been a huge fan of most skirmisher characters because they are usually just mindless get-out-of-jail-free cards, but the outplay potential with Alter definitely rivals Wattson. I still feel like Wattson is still the best legend for high iq plays because there's just so much nuance to her fences, but Alter is definitely 2nd place on that list. She is by far the most big brain Skirmisher and it isnt even close.
I disagree alter is a great skirmisher but like you said all of them are get outta jail free legends her tac is very predictable to counter and her ultimate is pretty wicked I can give you that but you can only use it once and if you use her portal in end game it could get shot out due to how many teams be in the last circle

Shotguns are still bad. Ars have been the best for while now. It’s just now that everyone realizes that the havoc is the best gun in the game. A volt can beat a wingman up close but most other smgs lose

Didn’t take me long to disagree. After the buff to ballistic he is in a great spot. To say f tier is crazy.
I think he’s fun! But at least in Master/Pred lobbies, nobody really ever runs Ballistic because his abilities don’t shift battles in a meaningful enough way. I want to see him get some more buffs!

Your ranking crypto off the worse case scenario. You literally said people are on his drone to much. Than they are playing him wrong you can’t judge a charcter with the highest skill ceiling in the game and one being one of the best charcters in the game if your going to assume the worst case scenario . We are also talking about ranked if a player isn’t skilled enough to use everything crypto has to offer like healing on drone and emp at the same time. Or finding spots in late rings for team safety. Honestly L take
Plus crypto isn’t meant to be better than bloodhound with scans. He’s an extremely hard counter to every single deployable in the entire game. He also gives info 100% of the time of squads in the area arguably when playing ranked this is the most important passive in the entire game. He’s also able to provide quick info with his new perk drone handling with something bloodhound wouldn’t be able to do. Another thing crypto can instant res and can get tm8 back in within seconds if them dying
Perhaps I should’ve specified: I’m ranking each character based off what the average main of that legend would be. Obviously you are correct, put any legend in the hands of a pro and they’ll be outstanding. But in a vacuum, I just think other legends have abilities that end up being more useful in ranked. I might just have Crypto PTSD though, you’re right!

I think my S Tier is pretty set in stone, has been for the last full season too with the exception of maybe lifeline. I assume you don’t like the bottom of the list?
And crypto got big buffs this season so I believe he at least deserves B
@@kazuyaichijou4623 I will absolutely revisit this list at the midway point of the season in 6 weeks. Last season I was way too pessimistic on Lifeline, maybe this season Crypto is my big miss! Only time will tell, that’s the fun of it!
The only L takes I see on his list is Crypto and maybe Catalyst, but this isn't a super controversial list my guy
