BMW X2 - Tail light Bulb Check / Repair hack

Accessing back bulbs of this X2 BMW. This applies to many other newer models without an access door to replace the bulbs.
FYI. Sometimes the bulb carriers will need to be replaced regardless.

Mike, thanks as the center contact on the bulb and mating contact in the socket were both badly oxidized. I owe you a bottle of Cutty!

What is the bulb size of it did burn out?

Doesnt look like the bulb fitting for my 2018 x2.
