This is still surprisingly relevant. I have a bad habit of worrying myself sick about whether or not I'm competent or going to fail at my work and activities. I think a better perspective would actually help me.

This came at the right time. I just failed a test and it triggered even more worry in my head but I realized that while I was busy worrying, I was also wasting more time that could lead me to, perhaps, a more distasteful path. Failure isn't the end, of course, but if you want to succeed, it's best to learn from the first mistake than to relive it again.

As a Christian who was told to just read my Bible and pray when I tried to talk about my depression and anxiety, those things help but they are definitely not the only things to help. Learning about cognitive behavioral therapy, exercising, and good friends helped too. Don’t be ashamed of seeking help. 💕 God made doctors for a reason.

I would wonder why so many people get sick more than others is because of stress and anxiety like that. They expect too much and when they don't get it they get all mentally sore. I heard having anger and stress can cause physical sickness. I used to be like that when I had a hard time dealing with stress.

That’s not what he meant. He meant that there’s no need to worry themselves sick for her, thinking that it’s something serious that she might not recover from. Back then people could die from a normal fever, because they didn’t have the right medicines. Today, in some countries, we have it so good that a normal fever isn’t viewed as anything serious. But in other, poor countries, they get scared for life if they even catch a cold. Because they know it can be deadly.

Mike Harris the conservative leader of Ontario forcing 30+ kids to a classroom, and the teachers brainwashing us that the Rae days were the problem... what an absolute joke, conservative politics seriously start on young children to keep them uneducated so they'll work crappy jobs in the future.
