  • Universal access to high quality health laboratories is essential for strong health systems and crucial for improving public health. Implementing a laboratory quality management system is the best way to provide reliable test results and to encourage the use of laboratory services. Laboratory managers who strive for quality and inspire their staff can start implementing quality management. To guide them, WHO published the Laboratory Quality Stepwise Implementation (LQSI) tool.
