Luca Leggero - 2021 Erbaluce di Caluso

Luca started his winery in 2014 in the Canavese region, famous today for its production of Erbaluce DOCG and a unique variety of Nebbiolo grapes called Picotener. Their organic methods encompass much more than just a sustainable/cleaner cultivation method; it is a complete philosophy of life. We acknowledge that a healthy, thriving, and balanced ecosystem is the key to achieving superior quality wine. We make wine in an authentic, unadulterated manner and produce a pure expression of terroir. Our passion is to highlight the distinctive characteristics of the grape variety as grown in our unique region.
A unique and high quality wine made from the ancient grape variety 'Erbaluce', which is native to the Canavese region. Hand harvested, minimal intervention winemaking includes fermentation in stainless steel and aging in Amphora. This can be enjoyed immediately or aged over several years if complexity and tertiary flavors are desired. A wonderful pair with salad, seafood, or white meat.
