Lol i tried these on my harden vol 2s. I did as instructed but instead of 2 layers of socks i went for 3. Then I hairdried my shoes on the highest setting but for 1 minute each while wiggling my foot and toes. After I was done cooling my shoes for 10 mins while still wearing them with 3 layers of socks, i took off 2 layers. It felt a half size bigger (maybe even a size bigger) when wearing only 1 pair of socks. It works on all types of shoes thank u bro for the vid!

did this for my dunks because i got them in my actual size but they were tight around the toe box. this worked and gave me a little more room☺️ if you’re getting dunks make sure you half size or just size up for comfort

Oh goodness!! I tried doing this trick on my fila disrupts and now they fit me so well! I’m usually a size 5.5 and I bought them 5 (they were on sale and that’s the only size they had). I wore them 2 times and my feet hurt like heck! I tried selling them on depop but after trying this trick I am keeping them! Thank you x

I did this a while back with inline skates. I bought some used skates that were about a half size too small. This worked like a charm.

The heat actually melts/softens the material momentarily for it to be stretchable until it hardens on cooling. Same as when you're adjusting your plastic spectacles frame.

If heating it up you're not only expanding the fabric, but also loosening the glue that keeps the fabric in place. That also depends on the temperature that you're using. But I'll give it a try, thanks!

Well OG sneakers are in fragile condition and the sole will melt off that is why people are asking
you would need an actual heat gun to do that, even on OG pairs. did this with my 2001 breds and experienced no problems.

@@sdski223 obviously if it's too small it won't work it must be like a half size smaller then it would be OK but you can't jump from 1 whole size up with this method. Also if it works after time it will take its original form again then you have to do it again.

I brought some Alphabounce CNY. and they were a size to small. I'm a size 11 1/2 to 12 in all my shoes. I got the Alphabounce in a size 11. it was the last one they had and it was on sale... from regular price of $100. to $50 bc it was a footlocker by me that was going under. so they had a sale. I was so unset that they only had size 11. I try them they fit way too tight. but I bought them anyways. I wanted to make them fit with out removing the soles. and when I found this video. I was so happy. it worked great but instead of 2 socks on I used 3. I was trying to get a better over all fit. and it really did work. they feel like a size 12 now. and I'm happy thanks man for a great video!

I'll try this later, my mom keeps telling me to do this so it should work. I got some 7 foot Fila Disruptors and they dont fit cause im a 7 1/2 and well-- the store didnt have it so yeah.. I'm kind bummed out rn cause I should've been more patient to get my size so hopefully this works
This worked well for my Jordan XXXIIs, was pretty pissed I spent over £150 on them and they were too narrow. Another great way I found was to fill a ziplock bag with water, and put it into a second bag if it leaks. Then put them into the freezer and when the water freezes it will expand and stretch your shoes.

its works! I dont have hair dryer so I use my bathroom shower since its provide hot water, I do the same step + cover my shoe with plastic bag

This worked on my converse that were 1.5 sizes to small ^__^ I'm so happy! I think it's because my feet are short but kinda wide so the hair dryer just expanded the shoes wider. The toe area did change too but not as much as the wideness did. Hope this helps curious people! 😄

@Anindya It did make them looser! It's really did! But they're still a little tight 😂 I don't wear them everyday as there not *super* comfortable. But they are very unique converse handed down to me so I don't mind squeezing into them with certain outfits 😂 If your shoe goes back in stock I would just exchange them but if your stuck with the shoes like I was then this hack is better than nothing✨

Yo in total, I spent $348 on these (for all 3), and this worked!! You can literally feel a difference! I did 30secs for 3 rounds and let them cool on my feet for 20mins (with 3 socks). It gives you room without stretching it to the point where it doesnt fit anymore…
And when I tried them on they were just perfect l!

Ngl, tried this in my 97's (notoriously narrow) and it works slightly. So far, providing a bit more comfort, but still a little narrow, but definitely wearable. Before i purchased them, it said they fit true to size, guess not though. however this does work, so would recommend.

just put them in the microwave for 30 seconds. its just breaking the shoes in. if your feet are wide and the shoes are narrow, then take a baggy and fill it with water then put another baggy over that one and stuff it in the shoes then out it in the freezer. as the water freezes and turns into ice the shoes will expand.
