The injuries just keep coming and CM will be a big miss. Wednesday really could be a turning point for the team, fingers crossed. Bernardo could replace CM but wondering also if Palma could play that role? He would have to increase workrate but he can spot a pass and is a good finisher.
Also though about palma through the middle he's got the quality he shouldn't have to track back alot we have 70% possession most of the time so why not

Our recruitment will not improve until the strategy improves. This only addresses part of the nepotism imo. I still have no confidence in this celtic regime - they ALL need to go asap
--> Idah's success is sorta bittersweet: Obviously, he helps Celtic in so many ways. But, by that same success, he makes himself more expensive in the transfer market. Would Celtic pay £10 million for him? If his success pushes his value up, then I'd say yes, for sure. But would the Board?

Not only is he off to a blistering pace in Scotland, but Norwich is claiming Italian clubs are interested, pushing his valuation up. Of course, chatter about interest from other clubs is part of the business of transfers and should be taken with a grain of salt.
Regardless, if there's no option already in place, then Idah's success is certainly going to increase the £3m free - maybe not to £10m, but quite a bit more. He's just 23 and about to the enter his prime years and is under contract with Norwich until 2028.

@@BB-ju8bo we don’t have a decent winger. Palma never takes a man on he’s lazy and not a team player. Maeda isn’t a winger I agree but he’s a pest and has a phenomenal work rate which wears opponents down. For me he starts all day before Palma
@chillpill1888 wouldn't say he was lazy he was on for 10 mins got a goal, on late again and hit the bar. My priority would be having someone with the technical ability and creativity on the wing, taylor can't beat a man down the wing either so when they play on the same side it's only really taylor coming central that causes problems for the opposition. For me the wingers main job is to have the ability to control the ball shouldn't even have to say that but in this case it's needed, cross a balls and beat a man all game. Everytime palma plays he creates. Personally I don't think palmas amazing but him and yang are the most creative wingers we have and need to be starting. 4.1 today HH

But to be de facto instantly unsackable is worse still.
I'd say that the garden leave is good news. Sacking him wasn't going to happen, so the options would be:
1) keep him on until his contract's out, and have him continue to influence decisions; or
2) tell him to just go home, get him out the building, and try to repair the damage and bad feelings.
--> Considering the two choices, #2 is the best. Get him out and away from influencing any decisions to be made ahead of the summer transfer market.
