Physics on Khan Academy: Physics is the study of the basic principles that govern the physical world around us. We'll start by looking at motion itself. Then, we'll learn about forces, momentum, energy, and other concepts in lots of different physical situations. To get the most out of physics, you'll need a solid understanding of algebra and a basic understanding of trigonometry.
About Khan Academy: Khan Academy offers practice exercises, instructional videos, and a personalized learning dashboard that empower learners to study at their own pace in and outside of the classroom. We tackle math, science, computer programming, history, art history, economics, and more. Our math missions guide learners from kindergarten to calculus using state-of-the-art, adaptive technology that identifies strengths and learning gaps. We've also partnered with institutions like NASA, The Museum of Modern Art, The California Academy of Sciences, and MIT to offer specialized content.

This is the ultimate way to teach physics, with moving images. Most of us aren't capable to follow along a 2 hour long explanation of how this works without any visualization. With a proper illustrarion of the concept, a 6 min video was enough to save my ass from a test! Thank you so so much to everyone who contributes in Khan Academy.

Diplomas only shows what person have competence to do whats is waited on it. In old times people had to go to university to get information, these days smart people can get information easily at home.

@@jacobvandijk6525 How ya doin mate. Could you give an insight into how physics disproves the existence of a higher power? Thanks. If everything that begins to exist has a cause and the universe had a beginning, then the universe has a cause. This 'cause' must not have a cause as that would result in an infinite chain that would mean we would never have existed. Therefore, whatever this 'cause' is, we know that a) it is infinite and b)it is uncreated(meaning it has always existed; the concept of time as we know it does not exist for this being).
I would love to discuss this with you mate let me know if you want to hop on discord.

  • @alwaysdisputin9930

Thanks. That helped me to understand things where other videos failed:
The capacitor has 2 plates. The battery pushes electrons onto 1 of the plates until it's crammed with electrons & the battery can't push any more on.
Inserting a dielectric increases capacitance because
    1) the electrons (in the dielectric's atoms) lean towards the positive plate of the capacitor
    2) therefore, each atom in the dielectric becomes polarised = 1 side is negative & the other side is positive
    3) near the positive plate, there are some dielectric atoms. The negative sides of these atoms cancels out some of the positive plates positive-ness
    4) near the negative plate, there are some dielectric atoms. The positive sides of these atoms cancels out some of the negative charge on the negative plate
    6) thus the negative plate becomes less negative
    7) the battery is now able to push more electrons onto the negative plate - thus the capacity of the negative plate to hold electrons has increased
