      Keep in mind that it heavily depends on the bulb type you use in it but with the set up used on video, the
      factory ones are nothing but a joke those headlight have lens proyectors built in which means they will amplify any light in it fitting range , oem ones are basically pure bulb , it's like comparing a lighter with a lantern.

      Not really ,at least you want to custom built a harnes for adjusting the headlight height from inside the car with a button because there is a built in motor that allows that wich don't really worth it to me since you only need to adjust them ones, after you install it, and that's it .

    • @buildyown

      Oem are H7, but you still may be able to retrofit D2S with an adapter, I used D2S led bulbs for those aftermarket Vland headlights.

    How do you know if your head light are motor adjustable?? How can I connect extra harness??

    • @buildyown
      @buildyown  Před 2 lety +2

      You know it ,because the wires were already there ,connected to the factory headlight housing and there would be a button for it in left hand of driver side, is very uncommon option I think is more for hybrid one, it can be installed but for my personal opinion don't worth the effort. You only adjust them ones.

    The only setting that doesnt flicker weirdly is the regular on setting on the light switcher. Auto setting doesnt work right, high beams dont, even off still produced a flicker if you have any insights! Thanks!

    Do they have high beams? Because I see that there is a signal where the high beam spot usually is, also what kind of lightbulb does it take?

    • @buildyown
      @buildyown  Před 2 lety +3

      Yes sure ,unlike factory one those headlight comes with a single dual beam protector which means one bulb do both high and low, I have another video about it for these specific lights. Thanks for the interest, have a good one 👍

      it’s on the back of the headlight, there should be 2 knobs, one is for adjusting left/right and one is adjusting up/down. The white knob is for up and down.

      That wire is for sonatas that have headlight power motor control adjustment I think hybrid one came with that option, it means you can adjust your headlight height from inside the car with just pushing a button, or just do a custom wiring to able it but for using it one's, it's a nah for me so you don't need those wire at all, mine are in the trash.

    Does your led strip come on as your drls on the new vland headlights

    • @buildyown
      @buildyown  Před 2 lety +1

      No, the headlight bulb instead ,have another car with vland headlight as well and having the same issue, so now that there are two I will investigate, diagnose it and for sure there will be a video for the fix, hopefully it will be just some internal conector exchange that anyone can do from the car ,also want to reach out vland to see if they improve that inconvenient, because it can surely short your bulb life but still like they products and customers service so far ,in the meantime have a good one. 👍

      @@buildyown Hey great video man, one question does those led strip alone come on when you put them in parking lights settings? and do they turn on when you put them in On position along with low beam. i saw somewhere that they need a additional harness or some people are saying jut connect that directly to the fuse box so whenever there is power to the car they come on automatically.

    • @buildyown
      @buildyown  Před 2 lety

      The led strip or day running light DRL are not coming on when and how supose to, it looks like the function is being exchanged with the beam instead, beam is on during the day like a DRL should be and DRL are the one's that turn on when the beam is turned on, and then along with the DRL, however I don't have the red ACC wires connected anywhere, because I think is just for the model that have headlight power motor control adjustment, anyways the beam shouldn't be on during the day at least you turn it on ,I have another car with vland headlight that does the same and never came with any external ACC wires ,I just think the wires have to be fixed from the light , but I'm waiting answer from the factory since they are in sprint brake until February 9th, it will be a video for it ,thanks for watching.

    • @chaitanyapoosapathi3387
      @chaitanyapoosapathi3387 Před 2 lety +1

      @@buildyown Hey i had a thought about this issue and i would like to share with you, i think the issue is not entirely with the headlights but its with the car itself. Older cars like these don't have dedicated Drl led strip so they use high beams as drl on stock headlights and the circuit system is also set to work that way, so when you have these new ones installed the circuit still sends power to the high beam lights along with led strip on vland, on the new ones the led strip is connected to a continuous power source so they never turn off. So the problem is with the drl setting on the car if we can somehow turn off drl(or high beam in our case) then we can still have led stip on all the time without the high beam. Do you know of any fuse or a software to turn off drl on the vehicle? this should fix the problem.
