Dear Sharon, They (Amazon) really did you dirty with parading most of Tom Yum noodles I know (and have eaten) on the market in one batch. I hate that Pledge OG as well (it was the first tomyum instant noodle i saw in my life) and when you see Tom Yum you can expect high intensity of lime / lemongrass + kaffir lime leaf / chili with the variation of seasoning. The brutal part is all of those hot one were prepared as dry noodles for you, while they were intended as soup noodles. So you suffered 5 times more (unnecessarily) than usual. 😭😭😭😭 Mama is the biggest ramen distributor company of Thailand, while WaiWai is the second. As a queen of dry-noodles snackers, my observation is that Mama nooldes are more bland while WaiWai (esp Quick line) ones are significantly salty. Thank you for soldiering through all of them and i am looking forward to seeing your new videos xxxx Ps. My favorite snack is the WaiWai sour&spicy shrimp (2nd bowl) as dry bits mixed with the seasoning packet (no sauce packet included) 😁😁😁 A fan from Bangkok xoxo

I hope if you do decide to try more ramen, I would suggest some other really good brands that have more flavors that aren't as common like Mi Goreng, Buldak (yes this brand is most well known for the 2x spicy ramen, but they have way more flavors that are very different than your usual ramen flavors), Nongshim, and Nissin. Loving all your videos Sharon. Keep being awesome and trying new things. Also, Tom Yum is a popular Thai dish that usually contains shrimp.
The best ramen I've had so far is Miso with roasted pork from Ajinomoto. It's frozen and comes in little bowls with meat and veggies. You can get them from Sam's Club (occasionally, they haven't had them in stock in my area for a couple of months now). Another frozen ramen flavor is Shoyu Chicken from Ling Ling, which is sold at BJ's Wholesale. It also comes in little bowls with meat and veggies. Just add a little water to both brands and microwave for about 4-5 minutes.
It is interesting for me that you have brands which I didnt have seen here (Germany). And yeah I have to agree: Some of them dont taste like what they claim to be. As always: Great video! 🥰
Ah, Mama Noodles, I ate that as a kid in Thailand. Amazon did you dirty though, they sent you majority Mama. (Plus so many similar or the same flavours). Lol.
I like the soy sauce flavored ramen that comes in a gold pk. I add rotisserie chicken to it and some chives. And an egg if ya want. Easy and yummy. Not spicy but very flavorful.

I'm with you on the heat stuff. I have Crohn's and not only does the heat go in one end and out the other, but it causes pain all the way through! That's why I almost never use the flavor packets in packages of ramen, but use either canned broth or homemade, then add veggies, eggs, and whatever else I want to make it a good meal. Besides there's way too much salt in those packets. I don't blame you for not wanting to do this anymore. Maybe you could instead make your own versions, that way you control the heat, salt and lemon pledge.
😂 thats why i dont like lemon heads candy. My bff looked at me like I was crazy when i said "i dont like it...i feel like im eating lemon pledge..." Also, when i eat Tums for indigestion, i instantly feel like im eating or my brain goes to the image of a porta potty. The taste to me is like the smell of the inside of the porta potty chemicals they use to make it not smell bad.
i just got tricked by Costco in California. Got excited to see a nice bag of Rice ramen. Low calorie. was rice and millet based .. Got home.. NO SEASONING PACKETS.. it was literally just bland starchy noodles. sitting like bricks in a huge bag.... honestly i could have taken it back but.. I just chucked it. I do like tho momfuku ones.. but truth be told.. the Trader Joes squiggly knife cut noodles are better for a fraction of the price
