Jollibee I always told you.. before serving mix the spaghetti, palabok, halo halo because I notice that most of American they don't mix their food just put it directly to their mouth.
The spaghetti is flavored to be sweet 'cause it's advertised mostly for kids and those who like things sweet. It's understandable if you wouldn't like the spaghetti. Some Filipinos don't even like it. Thank you for being honest about it, Sharon. Hoping to see more food content!
I tried Jollibee after it opened here in Michigan. Was so excited as a Filipino and knowing all the hype. My mom makes sweet spaghetti with meat sauce and not hotdogs. Was so disappointed with their spaghetti because the sauce seemed identical to a can of Spaghettios.
Sharon being Sharon, I love it. I just knew you wouldn't be a fan of Jollibee spaghetti, and that's fine, it's really more of an acquired taste. Thanks for doing that one bite challenge with the burger, that was unexpectedly fun to watch.
Shar! You were my favorite on People v food. And on react. I hate that your mot on there anymore. Please keep posting so i can get my regular dose of Big Shar!❤
sharon's face when the spaghetti is gold...😂😂😂...btw i grow up on that spaghetti and i understand why others that are not filipino dont like it...but still thank you for the honest review...
I agree I loved watching her on react and other channels of theirs esp for try not to eat and she would just start eating before the host was finished explaining the dish lol
You got the shaft!!! You were one of the main reasons I watched react...I don't anymore. So glad you let us know about this channel. I've missed your happy face😊🎉 Hope your channel sky 🚀
yeah, that spaghetti. i like it because i grew up with it, but i know it's going to be divisive if you take it elsewhere. i like your plain honesty---keep it up, shar!
What if you tried a random selection method for places you wouldn't normally go to or places you haven't wanted to try, but family and friends want you to? They say "no really you'll be fine, just try it" about those places.
Adobo rice is hands down my favorite thing from Jollibees! My boyfriend knows to bring two portions of that with some chicken plus peach mango pie if I'm in a bad mood. LOL
It would be so cool if you could collaborate with crazykoreancooking. Their dad is such an enthusiastic eater of literally everything! Would love to see you try some of the feasts they have. 😊😊😊
@@YoullBFine I'm terrible at checking my notifications and just saw your response! I'm so glad you took my comment the way it was meant (in good fun)! I feel like our senses of humour would fit well together. Love your videos and the ones you make on People vs. Food!
The noodles, you need to mix it, so the sauce will get distributed and less thick/strong. The spaghetti will always be a love it or hate it thing, and you will usually get disappointed by it if you were expecting an Italian style Spaghetti. Filipino-style Spaghetti is sweet, and usually with hot dogs and cheese on top. For what it's worth, what any other fast food places serve pasta or noodles anyway? The gravy comes with the chicken. You need to try dipping the chicken into the gravy, for the complete experience. But other than that, your review is honest and fair enough.
Sharon I was in California and couldn’t find any. I even looked hard at the Los angles airport and couldn’t find one. Can you recommend any locations so I can give it a try? I’m so curious about jollibee😊
I expected that Jollibee spaghetti and palabok are really a hit or miss to western people so no hard feelings if you don't like it :) Thank you for your honest review and I really loved this!
I never had a Jollibee Chicken Tender, because Jollibee's here in it's home country, the Philippines, don't have it since 2007 HAHAHAHAH (I'm born '04 so technically I don't have an idea of them)
I enjoyed watching you on React. I’m glad your doing your own thing. As a filipino, the spaghetti has an acquired taste, and it is understandable to not like it.
You gotta mix the palabok well and use the lemon packet that's supposed to come with it. Your reaction to the spaghetti was really funny. Im Filipino and jollibee spaghetti isnt one of my favorites, even my kids dont like it but if someone makes you the homemade Filipino spaghetti it wont be that sweet. During the American occupation the American soldiers in the Philippines wanted spaghetti but tomatoes werent indigenous to the Philippines. What we had was a lot of bananas and a banana sauce or ketchup was made from these bananas. And we had a lot of hotdogs and canned meat and pasta from the American soldiers rations. so the Filipino cook tried to recreate spaghetti for the American soldiers using the ingredients on hand. And Pinoy spaghetti was born.
Shar…. That isn’t Italian spaghetti… IT IS FILIPINO SPAGHETTI. Please dont compare cause it’s different. You also gotta mix the sauces in both the spaghetti and the palabok. You didn’t mix it at all.
The first chicken sandwich was just the regular on, the de luxe comes with lettuce and tomatoes. The fried chicken and chicken sandwich also has the more popular spicy versions,. You didn'tlike the gravy so it may not matter, but the gravy is meant for the fried chicken. Similarly, the Palabok is suppose to be served with lemon juice included in small packets.
@@YoullBFine Well it was made with Banana Ketchup also. Maybe I should have been more specific. It was made to cater to Filipino kids. 😂 And we mix our noodle dishes first before eating them. Same goes with the Palabok. Though I would crush the boiled eggs first before mixing it all together. 😊 And I miss you in PVF also.
The spaghetti is a miss or hit since they are not use to sweetstyle spaghetti and I just found out that when someone try the spaghetti from the US vs the pH they say that it's much sweeter in the US...
You’re missing the burger steak, the jolly hotdog and their pineapple juice. And for the palabok there should’ve been a calamansi/lime with it which helps offset the richness of the sauce. So sad we dont have Jollibee here in Australia 🇦🇺 😢
My fav vid that i saw u is the one piece anime food taste. Im not crazy with jollibee spag also i prefer the sour tamato taste and spiced, that spaghetti is for kids.
Hi Sharon, I am your big fan from the Philippines 🇵🇭, we do respect your perspective and your opinion about Jollibee's spaghetti, but we hope that you understand that is the Filipino style spaghetti that is why is sweet and also the palabok you should mix the sauce to the noodles with calamansi or lime. But still, I am a big fan of yours that based in the Philippines.. love yah!! And I miss you that you are not in react!!
Hi Big Sher.... I am a fan from the Philippines and I love palabok..... I know that taste is subjective and So I do appreciate you being fully honest with your review and not kissing our Filipino asses. 👍🏼👍🏼👏🏼👏🏼
a Common misconception about the Spaghetti sauce is its only made from Banana Ketchup. Thats actually not true its a blend of TOMATO Sauce and a SMALL portion of ketchup . In the philippines Delmonte made the filipino style spagetti sauce its still tomato based . but Peronally it I think Hunt's tomato sauce is the best sauce for spagetti .

Its ok i also dont like sour spaghetti
U didn't like our spaghetti because it was for kids...not for adults....
@@drejered6747it’s peach mango pie actually 😅
The reason the spaghetti is so sweet is because they use banana ketchup in the sauce.
we also use spaghetti sauce,(filipino sweet style spaghetti sauce 🙂) thats why it's sweet..banana ketchup is optional only 🙂
banana & prolly condensed milk mixed in it 🤣
@@badfreed1512 no milk you just invented it
@@flotstv6778some do add milk, condensed milk og cream to theirs but i dont think jollibee add milk to their spaghetti
