I like the steering and engine controls digital so the boat can also be driven from the captains chair. Tiara does this quite nicely.

Based on my amateur measured drawing of canal boats, these luxemotor barges seem to have much greater beams. Estimating by furniture dimensions, this barge's interior seems to be about 15 feet across. I'd say this barge is too big and too high for English canal locks and bridge clearances, but not too big for some rivers.
