- In Thai BL dramas, popular pairs often get cast together repeatedly, building strong fanbases. However, some couples lack the chemistry to make their relationships believable. I'd like to see the couples in this video paired with different people. P.S. Don’t kill me, this is just my opinion.

i have been saying FOR YEARS that bright and win have zero chemistry together and i don't understand how that was the bl that made the bl industry boom internationally.
They were a lot of fun to watch in F4 Thailand: Boys Over Flowers, but they were playing snobby rich kid friends who bullied people, liked women, and eventually became more decent after getting to know the ordinary girl their leader was chasing.
It was during pandemic and the timing of the release was a boon since most people’s got introduced to bl’s during this time😂🥴
People have horrible taste.. I think I think GMMTV hired people to push the narrative that Bright x Win were amazing together and the series was out of this world great. We know you can buy anything, if you put enough money behind it. I wanted them to break up too...
Win will more than likely never do a bl drama again. But if he does, I wanna see him with Nani...yup, something about them together gives me feelings I didn't get with Bright x him.
For that time it was great, as people were just adapting with bl series but after years of watching so many bl series...it has gone to my least favourite list from the most favourite 😂😂😂. It's all about time..

Also let’s use Neo as an example of an actor who steps out of his comfort zone to deliver his best acting. U may dislike him or like him idc but we all can agree that even tho HE HAS A GF that man DELIVERS in BL series’s. Oh Definitely he’s one of the most versatile and actually does grey shades beautifully. He’s on par with Pp/Bilkin , Ohm pahwat crazy range and good screen presence too. ✨☺️

( teens ) when they became "enemies" and had a "face off " all my mind could see was enemies to lover trope .... in some instances i had to ask if Perth hated Ohm in real life because it was soooooo convincing

Tbh I skipped their scenes. Maybe bc I didn’t watch their previous series so I didn’t know them, but didn’t see anything interesting there. Feels like one of those dudes who were secondary couples in another series and fans pushed them to get more. There’s no main couple vibe there (sorry, that’s just my opinion of someone who didn’t know anything about any of the couples).

@@chiomaokeke5311 I blame Book on that. I watched A Boss & A Babe, and I understand what this video is trying to say. In that series Book looked like he's about to kiss his brother whenever they had a kissing scene. No intimacy nor passion. In Only Friends, he got better, but by then the fans' perception about this ship had already went bland. It was too late.
With Perth and Chimon, it was like someone was standing just off-camera, threatening to kill a kitten if they didn't kiss. And don't get me started on Bright and Win. How ironic that their two bromance series are said to be the most popular "BLs" of all time. Meh.

Okay okay, i object on Jeff and Barcode, i feel like they should be given a chance on a different series based specifically on romance then we can judge, the characters they played on Kinnporsche were more of a Phi Nong relationship rather than romantic cause i feel like even the producers didnt make them so romantic. Plus they don't look like a spicy couple but more of a cute fluffy one.
Plus.....PerthChimmon should have never happened, point blank period!
i think Jeff and Barcode had the right type of Chemistry (Phi/ Nong) for their age difference ( irl and the series ... if we had additional season of KP i would not want them together until the 3rd season ) .. Chay was so innocent any sexual chemistry would have seem predatory..... We know our baby Barcode and he can SERVE chemistry we all saw DFF.... I call KP the school of chemistry because Ta and Barcode is just a whole science lab

I agree with all except for KristSingto, and JeffBarcode. I personally loved their chemistry and believe they did great for the types of characters they played. The others, however, were definitely lacking. I would love to see Perth act with Saint again and see how far both have grown as actors.

The chemistry wasn't there as Barcode was too young to be in a tv relationship with Jeff who was pushing 30s.
It would’ve been interesting to see the original pairing of KimChay with Gameplay portraying Chay. It was a shame things fell through around the filming of KinnPorsche and there’s no way of seeing the original content filmed before the official release of the series.

Singto could be paired even with a potato and u can see chemistry there. He is such a good actor that can make u believe in anything. He can b a dominating top or a cute fluffy bottom depending on the role that he gets. But in my opinion Krista and Singto s roles should b reversed bcuz I think krist looks a total top while singto is a beautiful sexy adorable fluffy bottom...

First of all,I feel like you didnt follow Barcode's growth as an actor.In DFF he had chemistry with almost everyone on that show.
So in my opinion its most likely that because Of his age,and him being new to the industry during KP,you might get that impression.
They got hyped because they are the on of the most talented singers/actors and Barcode is phenomenal dancer,who is soon going to debut as an Idol
And regarding reception of their series, Happy Ending is all over social media,people are super excited,so they def.got a hit in their hands.
It's insane that even now when Barcode is 20 years old,people still try to discredit him and are puting him on the side,saying he is just a kid.
When not only he proved in DFF to be one of the best actors,with the most demanding role in BL ever, he IS LITERALLY saying on every event nowdays to stop viewing him as a kid he want to grow out of that child actor box,that people put him contsantly.
And yes, BL doesnt need to have nc scenes,for people to say that couple in serie has a chemistry,remember that.

I disagree with Jeff and Code. In my opinion Code delivered the character Porchay perfectly. Same goes with Jeff as Kim. This is to understand from the series KinnPorche pov.
Porchay was a teenager who had a celebrity crush on Wik who was one of the reason for Chay to pursue his music interest & person he look upto as role model. Chay trying to get the attention and impress his crush, his awkward & shy behaviour around the person he likes was absolutely convincing. His character is innocent and pure for that age.
Kim on the other hand was a mafia with responsibilities on his shoulders who is very cautious, not very emotional, not interested in love life at the beginning, on survival mode, cold, distant with fear of betrayal, trust issues, has enemies, seen and done dirty things what a normal person doesn't do.
Yes, Kim used Chay for his deeds at the beginning. But he too started to fall in love for real and it became a protective love. The environment and personality he and Chay brought up are just entirly different.
Not much physical contact scenes considering the age of Code but their eye expression conveying love for each other, actions and words of care and pain are delivered very well & convinced me of their great chemistry between them.
Their love was not meant to be hot, steamy or sexy. It is slow, sweet, butterflies and united by similar interest (that is music)
I was not aware of their age gap while watching the series and Thai BL and the actors were new to me. Maybe this is the reason it didn't cloud my judgment on their chemistry and acting skills.
I COMPLETELY AGREE took the words out of my mouth. We have to ignore their ages. They are both such good characters and they played their roles so perfectly. They definitely fell into their role once the cameras roll

I think it's probably they never had a chance in KinnPorche. Their romance never even blossomed in that series. How could people judge that they had no chemistry when they never got the romance started at all. It ended before it even had a chance to start.

WOW, finally found someone who feels the same as I do. Nothing is worse than watching a series with couples that don't really click. You've hit the nail on the head with this video and I totally agree with each couple. I'm a Perth fan and watching him with a partner that has no chemistry is heartbreaking.
I am also team Perth and was watching DR mainly for him but damn, Chimon made things cringe.
Which frustrated me. Chimon can act, evidenced by his portrayal of Pennueng in Home School. That's why it irked me to see him not put as much effort into his portrayal of Sailom in Dangerous Romance.

Krist Singto? Are you serious? They acted like that in SOTUS, because that's how Arthit was. Their chemistry is off the charts behind the camera, especially when they think no one's watching. You talk about whoever you want, but don't come for my boys, they have been together for more than 10 years. Do not talk about them, if you don't know them. Try to getting to know them a little better before judging like that. Singto didn't "carry" the series, they are both great actors. Singto's scenes with Ohm were just more "naked"- that doesn't mean chemistry. Even in their interviews they had no chemistry at all. Singto has said many times that everything else is just a job, but at the end they will come home- to each other.
I didn’t even finish Dangerous Romance. I seriously felt like I was watching two buddies but then the forced kissing started and it was jarring. I kinda felt bad for Perth.
I have to disagree with Jeff and Barcode. They portrayed the characters exactly how they were supposed to be portrayed. It’s an innocent puppy love romance where a high school student falls in love with his idol. It’s a cute side story that’s meant to be a break from all of the toxicity from the other relationships and that’s what we got. Plus based on the reactions to the ending of the Happy Ending trailer 😏 I think most would disagree with the statement that they lack chemistry.
I agree ...we know both Jeff and Barcode can have "chemistry" with a can a coke .... but based on age difference in the series and irl .. i think the type of Chemistry they displayed PERFECT !!!
Just wait till Happy Ending comes out (or Wuju Bakery, but right now I'm counting on my grandchildren to watch it for me)

I disagree with Krist and Singto. Their lack of chemistry wasn't caused by their incompatibility as actors but due to Krist being uncomfortable playing in a BL. I'd say noone expected Sotus to be such a hit so he was even more discouraged to take other BL roles after being oestered by fans. After he dipped into other roles, I think he matured enough to be comfortable with playing in another BL, which was Be My Favourite. He was supposed to play with Singto, his only reason to even take that role, but Singto wasn't available for the schedule, so Gawin took upon the role. If it were anyone with whom Krist wasn't close, he wouldn't stick for the role. So his upcoming role with Singto should be fine. I think they both gained a lot of experience and it will pay off as their only problem back then was Krist's dislike for playing BL roles. Sorry for such an essay, I just feel like it should be said.
For me chemistry is more about the feelings and less about the intimate scenes, that's why I disagree with some couples being on this list, but I understand that everyone has different tastes and standards in what they are looking for.. 😌
Yes for "Dangerous Romance" i agree, it is a misleading translation while the thai title reads: "huajai nai sailom" if translate directly it would be "the heart where the wind" or for a good translation it would be "where sailom heart is be" cmiiw. Hope this help
Krist Singto has amazing chemistry and dynamic even without intimate scene like the others couple do nowadays but I do want more explore on their scenes
It’s actually quite frustrating because most of us can agree on the fact that many of the ships in bl have no real chemistry. I mean, we’re not naive. Most of us understand genuine chemistry and how couples interact, and emotional and physical intimacy on-screen really shines when actors are not only comfortable with each other but also fully embody their characters. So to cast a cp in a bl who have absolutely no believable on-screen physical and emotional chemistry and expect them to act out scripted intimacy in which they physically look repelled and uncomfortable making it extremely awkward and visually uncomfortable for viewers to watch is very frustrating. The brotherly love thing is cute and all for bromance, but then that doesn’t make it a bl. I get it, bl is fantasy, but to sell that fantasy, your cp needs to have mutual chemistry.

Well honestly i just watched kinnporche for jeff and barcode and honest they just had 14 minutes hardly in the whole 14 episode of drama...they didn't really got a chance to deliver the chemistry but the fluff they showed was geniunely cute like barcode being the shy little cringed teen getting closer to his crush while jeff being the tough guy not knowing how to show out his care was really cute to watch...and barcode was literally teen at that time so I don't blame them not to add their scenes in that lmao so now he is a legal and 20 almost so i am expecting much now and that of understand jeff's entertainment they are bringing up the new series happy ending i am actually expecting so much like dang it!! so let's see....where as singto and krist i wasn't really happy with the story line lol but their chemistry was really good like that's what i think personally and i have watched their trailer of new series and i am expecting so much too lmao

FINALLY. I was hoping someone else would mention this pairing especially Ohm carrying their chemistry because OOFPH.. looking back on that classic and focusing on Nanon too long is truly cringe worthy. I genuinely couldn't stand Nanon's character in Bad Buddy and I honestly don't think it's fully just a character he's playing, even in other dramas, tbh, but that's just my personal opinion so don't fight me. Ohm really can act and express so much, though.

I think the parts of A Boss and a Babe that looked awkward were supposed to look awkward. If my boss who I met 5 minutes ago was leaning over me 3 inches from my face, I'd back away too, even if it was Force! 😂 Same with the other scenes shown here, the car scene was in the middle of a fight/misunderstanding and Gun was awkwardly trying to clear it up, and even the face Book makes in the bedroom scene was intentional and went along with the conversation they were having, and not Book's own revulsion.
I agree with all of them exempt for Barcode and Jeff, but you get into why our points of views differ. I watched Kinnporche without knowing who any of them were and having no concept of their age difference or in fact how old they were supposed to be in the series either (Aside from the fact that Jeff was older obviously, but if that was supposed to be by 2 years or 10 I would not have been able to guess) Being unaware of any of these factors, I thought they were pretty great and were in fact my favourite out of the couples.
Pavel, Perth and Jeff deserve better partners. I disagree in the KristSingto couple, they have the chemistry and Krist is totally different in live shows. I believe, that the director forced him to play his character with less emotion.

I would just like to add that after watching BLs for seven years now, I can say that Bright should have the award for the very worst BL actor. Not the worst I have seen in the world, that award goes to two male actors from the US. I blame the writer and director for seeing something in Bright that was never there. Because most (not all) of the fans are very young and naive and immature, you can never go by what the fans might think or even like. I have seen the worst BL actors and scripts and just like clock work, the fans will always think it's the most wonderful story, the greatest actor and the best chemistry they have ever seen. It's time to think about putting the breaks on the Fan Events and getting serious about who is on the screen. There are great actors in the BL industry, lets start using them seriously.
Exactly… some fans are head over heels for Bright. He is neither a good actor nor a singer. There are good actors out there which can nail any role😊… More than fan meetings the chemistry with the actors should work out, but immature fans don’t realise what is good acting and what is worst!!!

This is why I say both pairings and fan service needs to be broken up permanently. Add zee and nu to awful acting and zero chemistry.
Honestly i thought win was the better actor between the two in 2gether. Bright was just not showing any emotion in that show. But I did love Win so watched it regardless. I seriously myself don't understand why 2gether is praised soo highly and especially how people are crazy about Bright

You can tell by how the actors respond to each other and many times I have wondered why another actor isn't with one of the leads. Perth and Chimon have a great friendship off screen but do not look like a romantic one on screen.
Bright can pull off modelling but should stay away from BL, in F4 Thailand he seemed more comfortable with the female lead.
I actually liked ForceBook ( I have only watched them in Enchante) so for fluffy romance, I did like their chemistry.

I disagree with Yoon and Ton. They are dating in real life. Yoon confirmed it at a press conference. When you see them together at events, it's clear they do have chemistry. They just need a better script to showcase that and I hope they get one soon. Jeff and Barcode did have more of a bromance than a romance, but that's because Jeff knew at the time that Barcode was a minor and had to set boundaries as a result. I'm looking forward to their new shows and see how the chemistry evolved since then, especially since Barcode is no longer a minor. Long and Frank are also my favorite and OMG Vampire is their best show out of the three, with Love Syndrome being second and Crazy Handsome Rich being dead last (and rightly so). I hope the company would stop giving them bad scripts so they can showcase their acting skills better.
All of the pairings need to be split up, Long and Frank have about as much chemistry as a wet paper bag. Vampire has a really bad script, the industry needs to stop allowing bad writing to be showcased and get the hidden gems out.
@@dyanduffy7651 I disagree. Compared to Crazy Handsome Rich and Love Syndrome, OMG is the best show out of the three. It's a vampire comedy that's easy to follow along and sets the vampire rules up pretty well. I agree, it's not the best BL show, but it is the best one out of Long and Frank's catalog so far.

I watched Dangerous Romance because I'm a fan of Perth Tanapon. It was sad to see, as I watched the series, that Chimon's performance was just ok, and that Perth was the one shouldering the weight of the show. It was frustrating to see someone as talented as Chimon, not carry his weight, especially given how great his portrayal of Pennueng was in Home School, which was also released last year.

I will agree on most of the couple, except KristSingto, because of them I started my BL journey, so with minimum intimate scene as pioneer bl couple they did amazing..JeffBarcode as a couple never have many screen so their potential still unknown..Again Except MA, BOC didn’t have potential couple, like JesBible looks too blend and awkward..They don't have good project, resulting potential couple to be doom..Let's see JeffBarcode new project.
Fan service is one thing that I don't need if you have to promote your show.Then do that, A whole bunch of extra stuff I don't need or want to see it.I just need you to do your job and convince me of your character who happens to be gay

Jeff and Barcode has yet to show us what they can do. When Barcode join KP he was young so I understand that they didn't have like full blown make out sessions. That would be weird. But Barcode is legal and they have the spotlight in the 2 upcoming shows. We should Wait before we pass judgment on how they're couple dynamic is.

Bright and win were my BIGGEST DISSAPPOINTMENT. I had a brief stint into bl at the start of the year. And their series was like #1 in so many top 10 videos i had expectations. I had first watched Stay With Me, a chinese series originally being pushed as a bromance bc of censorship but was the gayest thing, with the actors having great chemistry. I watched bright and win right after and thought 'see THIS! This is a bromance'. It was the least gay series, being packaged as a gay series. And all the comments talking about chemistry felt like they were gaslighting everyone into seeing what wasn't there
Also very true on perth/chimon. Perth has potential. Chimon though I just dont see it. Outside of the series I notice even minimal intimacy (think touch on the neck or being in each others personal space) made him look uncomfortable
Jeff and Barcode acted wonderfully and had great chemistry onscreen. They look good together. They have a brotherly vibe offscreen but they look very romantic onscreen - proving they are good actors.
BrightWin were actually perfect. They had great chemistry. They were lovely in the romantic scenes. I think the high five at the end was a fumble on the directors part.
Frank and Long are also a good pair. They have a tense romantic chemistry and act well. They are just given *very* shitty scripts and the direction has been very bad of the show. I nearly cried hearing their voices dubbed in the show like why would you do that?! The dialogue not even matching their lips. 😭

I might’ve agreed w/ KristSingto, but if they can recapture the dynamic they shared in their recent concert (particularly the Dum Dum cover…🥵) I’m hopeful their new series will showcase their matured chemistry.
I do have disagree with you about Barcode and Jeff though. Their dynamic in the series wasn’t meant to be heated and passionate; it was a soft, sweet, and slightly awkward first love, which they sold very well. Barcode being young and naive - both as the character and an actor - suited the role of Porchay, while Jeff both being and playing as a protective, mentor figure fit with Kim’s character.
We know both Barcode and Jeff are capable of pulling off characters that can zing with others… (I was so impressed with Barcode’s character in DFF I didn’t realize he was the same actor from KP at first!) What sells me on their potential chemistry is their off screen interactions. I think/hope Wuju Bakery and Happy Ending are going to pleasantly surprise fans who may have doubted them as a believable bl couple.

All of Bright and Win's sexy scenes felt cringe and watching the actors interact outside the series was painfully awkward. I think they're good friends but both are straight as they come and you could tell they hated the fanservice!
It can't always be the actors fault their acting being bad it might not always be that but the the writing or the directors views like how he wants it to go like with the intimate scenes the kissing scenes
Only problem witn this is analysis is to do with the script, production and direction....don't mean the actors don't have chemistry when they are told to act that way or the characters were supposed to be awkward. I'm watching Danergous Romance, and the danger is to do with falling love with a bully and that there is debt and gangs involved, also I'm loving dangerous romance. SOTUS was my first and Krist did seem wooden, SingTo didn't, they were mates filming, and if you watch the special episodes/making off Sotus they explain their kiss scenes

I have to disagree with you on Bright and Win. I've seen couples high five each other. I guess people didn't see it as a bl, because there wasn't s*x scenes? I do respect your opinion. However I do agree that these actors should get other roles and ships. I just want to mention that the new GMMTV series "The trainee" isn't good to me, because it's like Off and Gun doesn't have that chemistry anymore, like Mew and Gulf in the second season of TharnType.
We don't see chemistry as only sexual chemistry. However, if it is a romance series with people who are supposed to be in love then it's important to have this kind of chemistry and it was absent between BrightWin.

Perth and Chimmon are both super talented actors but the fact that they are a branded pair, feels like GMMTV is setting them up for failure. Chimmon definitely had great emotional chemistry with Pleum so they made their couple somewhat believable. Perth can nail NC scenes with the right partner and Chimmon is not it. They barely have a buddies vibe together. which isn't to say that they're not friends IRL - that's not my business. But as actors, they fail to sell me on any connection they have with each other.
I will never shut up about Jeff and Gameplay. They were so natural together and equal in terms of talent and intent when acting.
Also, Frank and Drake; 2gether did them no favors as a pair. Cause You're My Boy is a painful BL in terms of the story, script and plot, but the actors in the show were STUNNING and I'm an ardent fan of all of them still. FrankDrake and NeoPhuwin had a sweetness which they may have owed to how young they were when filming the show. Khaotung made his GMMTV debut with that show also and AJ was also in it and he was excellent as well. Drake is still partnerless but hitting it out of the park in terms of performances and Frank is with Long Lee - while they're attractive together, there's no substance there and the material they are getting is rubbish. (I have not watched the vampire show yet - waiting for it to finish so i can binge it).
Singto and Krist are interesting - Singto has chemistry with literally anyone you pair him up with; be it Ohm in HCTM or with Nat and Plustor in Friendzone... I have not seen Be My Favourite so I cannot comment on how Krist got on with Gawin. But KristSingto definitely look more into each other in upcoming The Ex-Morning; hopefully time and acting experience has helped them both grow.

Be my Favorite is one of my most favorite bl. Krist and Gawin had amazing chemistry. You will never regret watching it.

I disagree. I think they have a certain chemistry, but I do think neither of them really can act.
ForceBook ✅: 1 for 1. Hard to picture them as anything other than best friends.
PerthChimon ✅: 2 for 2. Compared to their previous partners (PlueMon/PerthSaint) the lack of chemistry is obvious.
MeanPlan ✅: 3 for 3. You could tell that Plan was starting to be over the whole BL ship by the time LB2 filmed.
KristSingto ☑️: Never seen SOTUS, so can’t comment except that in early BTS, it appeared that Singto and Krist weren’t even friendly towards each other. I think they grew a lot closer after the series. Definitely looking forward to the new series to see how much their acting together has matured.
BrightWin ✅: 4 for 5. Friends never lovers.
Jeff Code ✅: 5 for 6. Definitely older brother looking out for a younger brother. Jeff definitely had more chemistry with Gameplay but delusional fans attacking Game destroyed that.
Gun ✅: 6 for 7. I’m sorry, but every series I wonder 💭 if Gun is the son of the producer, how else did he get that role?
YoonTon ✅: 7 for 8. Terrible script and unbelievable acting equals impossible chemistry.

LongFrank ✅: 9 for 10. I’ll admit I’m totally biased on this one because I love the FrankDrake ship. Frank just seems so much more comfortable with Drake than Long.
That said, ALL BL ships are “forced” ships. The fact is most of these “ships” aren’t real as these are ACTORS and most of the actors are straight men. Plus, a lot were scouted based on their looks and not on their acting ability. That said, I can imagine how difficult it is to portray feelings you’ve never experienced with someone who is essentially a stranger. I think 🤔 more blame should be placed on the producers and production company to hire better acting coaches and, in the case of some of the series, better script writers ✍️. It’s impossible to turn 💩 into gold 🥇.

I really don't agree with longfrank, forcebook and jeffbarcode. Everyone has their own likings and dislikings spreading hate about it is not okay, and I am saying this is because the creator literally mentioned "which other couple do you want to see breakup." That is one heck of a toxic line there. It is okay if you don't like a few couples there are more people for you to check out but don't spread hate like this. There are so many fans of jeffbarcode, forcebook and longfrank who would literally do anything to watch them get paired again do not force your opinions on someone else.
Coming on to a much more important aspect, chemistry doesn't only depend on the acting but a significant portion on the script as well, the scripts often don't do justice to the actors so just blaming them for their lack of chemistry isn't really a good thing either.
Nonetheless, being a die hard bl fan idk why but I found this video really toxic, sorry if my view disagrees with your opinion but this video is not right for real.❤
