The way I was taught. The minimum bid is 5, not 4. The 2 card is worth one point and always belongs to the person holding that card and it cannot be captured by any other person. Also, shooting the moon gives the team 20 points, not 52 points. If the person shooting the moon goes set (does not capture all 10 points) they are a minus 20 points, not a minus 52 points.

Great video. If a player gets more than 6 point cards in their hand. They have to discard a point card? And then that round of 6 is no longer worth 10points?

Hey, thanks! Correct, if point cards are discarded, they are out of play for the round. Those points cannot be captured and earned.

If you were not the winning bid but you bid 5 and your team captured 0 would you be -5 or still 0?

Great question! Only the bid-winner is responsible for making their bid. If you did not win the bid, there is no requirement. You simply earn the points you capture.
