  • Hello everyone and welcome to a new Istituto Marangoni Milano video! In this video I am giving you all the things you need to know before joining the fashion school. My friends also sent me there own tips and regrets regarding their experience at Marangoni.
I love sharing these videos with you guys as I think it's awesome to hear the tips and experiences from Marangoni graduates. However, keep in mind I graduated in 2019 so things might have changed by now (example: perhaps you now get the Adobe package from the school!) but nevertheless, I tried to make it as interesting as possible for all of you.

I am American (not even European) but how can you get a job in either France or Italy I’d you’re not from there? How does that work with your student visa? Would you have to get a work visa too and is that complicated to get?

I have a diploma in Economics from the Bocconi University in Milan, and as I saw online the building of the Marangoni institute it seemed small, is it a place with a high standard for studying? Does the school contribute practically or is mostly theory?

Thanks for the video! I am American and I am looking to go to school at Marangoni for my Masters in Fashion Design Womenswear focus. I’m trying to decide which campus I will go to - Paris or Milan. I have a 4 year bachelors degree in Fashion Design, I did an internship at Alexander Wang in New York City I have been working in the fashion industry for 4 years in America. I am a pattern maker, production seamstress, and Draper and also learning digital pattern making. I don’t know French or Italian language but I’m capable of learning (I know Spanish) . So my question is- Do you think it is possible for me to find a job in Paris after I graduate with masters degree from Instituto Marangoni?
The masters degree is about 40K just for tuition so I want to make sure I’m making the right decision in choosing this school.
Or should I try Central Saint Martins in London or ESMOD in Paris??
