  • Good view of runway and instrument panel from this Flamenco Air's Britten-Norman BN-2 Islander, while landing at José Aponte de la Torre airport in Ceiba (NRR), PR (formerly Roosvelt Roads Naval Base). We're flying in from Culebra, landing at runway 25. There's a slight cross wind, as can be evidenced from this aircraft crabbing to the left. Video was taken with an iPhone 11 on 4K resolution on Thursday, October 5, 2023 at aproximately 11:30 AM. The usual landing approach is from the other side or runway 7, tropical storm Phillipe had just passed close to the area the day before.

I hadn't noticed. However, for that landing we came in opposite the usual landing approach, which may explain the flaps being like that.

Nice approach and landing. How do you navigate, VOR, DME, and NDB? Are you VFR only? Have a great day, Sir.

Hello! Thanks for the comment though it wasn't me flying, I was just a passenger sitting behind the pilot. I''ve taken this flight from Culebra to Ceiba quite a few times. Most, if not all the times, it's flown VFR.
