- Hello and welcome back to theHunter: Call of the Wild! In today's episode we are doing another treestand only challenge, but this time we are using the new electronic caller, gun, and bow! So the electronic caller is basically a caller, but electronic. Crazy, right? But yeah we're on New England Mountains map this time, and ready to take down moose, black bear, and deer!

I haven't edited a CotW vid in a while, and boy was it a pain lol. But I tried to edit it more like an actual hunting video, and share more of my thoughts on things and not just blast something every 3 seconds. Hope you guys enjoyed! Also it's been 24 hours since I've recorded and I still have a headache from that caller lol

Rooster, glad you worked out the range finder sight, but for the new caller there is a new setting in audio for caller volume so you can turn its annoying ass down, makes it so much better to use.

When I first got this game I was crawling everywhere, barely saw anything and if I did it was miles away but your playstyle looks so much more enjoyable.
yeah there's just something special about playing no HUD and sitting up in a tree. I love running around and blasting things, but it's nice to settle down and enjoy some realism every once in a while

The Red Pro Caller is fantastic. Yes it is heavy, but as it is meant for stakeout hunting, I'd say it is fairly balanced.
Also the thing can call in the freakin' gators! THANK YOU!! Finally got that annoying lvl 9 diamond that was always evading me.
It's not bait hunting but it might as well be. XD
P.S. You can change the audio level of the caller in the settings, so they thought of that XD

You can turn down the sound of the e caller in the settings. I would suggest using the caller in cornfields on new England map

I love this game. And i know its 6 years old. But it needs to be updated. When you use the scope he pretty much has a seizure after 10 seconds. And the hits are a joke too. I killed 13 moose. All in the same spot. 150 to 180 yards. Half of them were no vitals
Really?? Oh man I always have problems with getting moose to die, even with powerful guns (if it's not a vital)
Well, the andersson 22lr and a bird blind with that caller might be pretty good for getting a bunch of pistol score.

You can turn the caller volume down in settings so it’s not so loud for future reference
Watching you try to use the rangefindr sight was painful and funny, using the red dot tho
On console you press Y when the red dot is on an animal and a green dot will show up and ur supposed to sim with that

The spoting thing happens to me all the time, sometimes it works sometimes not. Don't know what is the cause, but just realised that i can literally turn the spotting thing off n on. It helped fortunately. Glad I am an IT specialist...bruh

I've watched him for several years now, and never noticed he did CotW videos until a few months ago. I was searching up the top viewed cotw vids and a few of his vids came up. I can't believe he made like over 200 vids on the game. it's a shame I didn't start playing cotw back when he did, it would have been fun to collab with him

Got an idea for you man… Call Of The Wild Duty: After many years of hunting these same lands the animals haven’t taken you seriously. They have seen you shoot their Father or Mother UP THE ASS, and aren’t intimidated by you yet. You need to show them who’s the real wrecker of these woods. They have contacted the local game warden to see if you have balls of your own, instead of just shooting off theirs. THE CHALLENGE IS: 1 hour to get as many 360 quick scopes and or no scopes as you can. As long as it registers as a hit it counts. I’ll donate $10 for no scopes and $10 for 360 quick scopes. If you combine the two: 360 no scope its $20 (No ARs and no shotguns). If you get an ass or balls shot you can call yourself the Call of the wild duty master; and I’ll donate $100 on top of everything. Sorry for the long comment 😂
You should use the hard cast bullets next time with the 44 magnum. You can easily do Texas heart shots with them.

I heard the caller only works for 90 seconds on the animal then you have to pause and replay to get the animals to re respond to caller

If you use the zero on your bow it puts a red dot right where it's going to shoot.

Press R when aimed with the rangefinder sight, puts a green dot on the sight, and then you use that green dot to aim

Hey bud helpful tip from a max level player with over 2 mil in game: I noticed you are using the jacketed hollow point ammo in the Moradi model 1894 44 mag it has good expansion but I recommend using the flat nose hard-cast ammo as it has 70 penetration and in this game penetration is key over expansion. I guarantee you will be thoroughly impressed with the Moradi and even the 44 mag handgun when using the flat nose hard-cast ammunition. Just figured I would help a fellow COTW player 🙂
I can't use the other ammo since I don't have a high enough handgun score. I pretty much only use rifles so it's still a low level 😅
@@Rooster_GamingExactly what happened to me. Got the DLC, went to add bullets..... and the main ones were locked, due to my shitty handgun score. Had to go to the beach on emerald coast and creep up on Crocs with the Sundberg 454 for a couple of hours, before unlocking 😩

That’s called a Texas heart shot
You know with that bow sight it will pop up a reticle to aim with when you spot them.. I can't remember what button to push but you don't have to aim with just the red reticle.

You really need to start playing with the HUD..I feel like a lot of things that happened in this video would have been a lot easier with the information the HUD provides
Not really. the HUD tells you your ammo, wind direction, and which way you're facing. none of which are every really a problem for me

Can the animals see you while youre in a stand? I always use the tripod stands and i have a lot of issues tryna get animals
your visibility while in the stand is super low. Scent spray is super important though
