  • The Bianchi E-Omnia T Type is a high performance urban speed pedelec with custom integrated lights, off-road inspired fenders, powerful hydraulic disc brakes, and sturdy 15mm thru-axles, available in three sizes and two frame styles. The high-step black model and mid-step white model provide fit and style options to suit a wide range of riders. Sturdy build with reinforced frame, upgraded Schwalbe Supermoto tires (with puncture protection), and wide Boost hub spacing for stronger spoke bracing angle. Custom integrated rear rack looks sleek and adds utility. Adjustable suspension fork, suspension seat post, and overbuilt adjustable angle stem optimize comfort for longer faster rides. Beautiful Bosch Kiox color display panel offers Micro-USB charging on the go, Bluetooth smartphone connectivity, and tamper-resistant removability. Great attention to detail on supporting hardware including adjustable kickstand, 12-speed Shimano drivetrain, sturdy alloy platform pedals, two bottle cage mounts, safety oriented reflective tires, and fast charger. Heavier than average due to overbuilt stem, frame styling, and body armor fender accents. High price point due to premium motor, display and battery choice with limited dealer availability... but excellent warranty terms. The headlight is built into the head tube and does not point where you steer vs. where the bike frame itself is pointing but additional LEDs are used on the front and back of the frame to increase the visual footprint of the frame itself for improved safety.

    I have this bike, and its really awesome. Its so comfortable for long rides. I bought mine last year and its an early production model so it does not have the guard on the downtube, but battery is still very well protected. So far, I'm very happy with the bike and rides so well, even with pedal assist off. When I meet up in clubs, it grabs a lot of attention. Downside though is its VERY heavy, but I knew that when I was buying it. I love this bike.

    Thanks for such a thorough review. I can’t remember if I have mentioned it previously, I am a stroke survivor, and a former
    Bianchi owner( 3+ currently, don’t tell my wife!) because of the damage to my stroke, my left hand and left foot are paralyzed. This review makes the new bike possible, well, sorta, just the $$$ now! Thanks!

    The front and the back lights are made by Spanninga which produces lights for many bike manufacturers. They did a great job on the Bianchi. From any angle you are visible to others and you also will have enough visability in front of you. Soon i will get mines, the belt version, as it has less worries about maintenance. I think this is a good all-round bike. For tour, city and light offroad use perfect. The easiest to get are the glossy black and the white bikes, but also available in a few other colours. Love the gray and the blue one. Fair review with it's pro's and con's of this amazing bike. The 25km p.h version is the one you can drive within Netherlands without a license. For the speed version which can go 45km p.h. you do need ea car or a moped drivers license. I do not know about other countries, but if you look for a speed version, than you already should know i guess... Thanks for the great review. It is fair with it's pro's and cons.

    Excellent review as always thank you, I think it's a great-looking bike that has a lot of great qualities, especially Bosch powered, but having spring Forks, deore derailleur, only dual piston should be 4-piston just because it weighs 62 pounds, let alone the fact that it's $6,000 and a hardtail to boot. For $ 6000, I think it's pricey. There are many amazing e-bikes out there including Bosch powered e-bikes out there for $6,000 and slightly less,
    I'm not criticizing bike because it is a beautiful bike, and review was excellent and extremely thorough as usual .just giving my thoughts.

    A belt drive with a stepless Enviolo gear hub would seem more appropriate on a fast "moped-style" bike like this.

    I have a question about the battery on this bike. Is this a vertical or a horizontal mount battery? I have a mountain bike with a powertube 625 battery (horizontal mount), and I am considering buying this bike so that I can have 2 compatible batteries.

  • @jbandt
    @jbandt Před 2 lety +4

    Like the others, 6k is way to much for a commuter/hybrid bike. I was looking at specialized vado and vado sl around 3-4k and even that is a lot for a bike that's going to be beat up as a coummuter.

    • @ElectricBikeReview
      @ElectricBikeReview  Před 2 lety +3

      I feel ya. I really like the Specialized designs, especially with the SL models, and I think that a lot of people would still find them pricey in the scheme of things… when you can get a hub motor speed Pedelec fit less. The big highlights with this Bianchi are the unique design, size options, reliable drive system, and higher capacity battery.

    Interesting that this bike comes with a 32T chainring. Even with a 10T top cassette gear I think you’d be hard pressed to reach 28mph top speed…..maybe at very high cadence but uncomfortable and not very often.
    Your thoughts?

    • @ElectricBikeReview
      @ElectricBikeReview  Před 2 lety +2

      Maybe the larger wheel diameter help, it’s running 29” x 2.4” and felt pretty comfortable at speed during my ride test. Good news is that you could replace the chairing easily with the new Bosch motors, since there’s no reduction gearing going on.

    • @frankiehoosier9165

    Phew....this "Euro-Bike" sure is purdy (that white model is a dandy) along with offering some interesting features......however, it looks like some of the other commenters below are exhibiting a bit of consternation concerning the price. Without a test ride to make my own determination, I have to opine that I find it hard to believe that the refinements are worth the $6k price tag. Also, maybe it's just the Mic ...but man, this thing is noisy.

  • @bolttracks

      I was thinking the same. Did not know of Canyon so I looked them up. Canyon SPECTRAL:ON is carbon fiber and still weighs over 60 pounds... oh, and $10K. Their Grail:ON, is definitely much lighter at 37lbs for the same $6K price as the Bianchi but no shocks (road bike).
