@@ug0053 YES. It still is and I bet it will still be many years to come. I still use it pretty much everyday and whenever I have visits and friends over we somehow always end up playing and trying it out. I even take it nearly everyday to university so I can play on the train or even on longer breaks between classes. Of course, the games you buy are essential to keep the fun awake but even if you have one or two (I started with only Mario Odyssey and still find myself playing every week) it still manages to keep you entretained for months.

I don’t think it’s quite as easy as waving a magic wand to fix them. Because of their design, two small detachable controllers that allow its accessibility, there are hardware limitations that make the drift difficult to avoid. And at least they are offering free joy con repairs to any drifting controllers. It totally sucks and isn’t really excusable, but I think Nintendo is in a difficult spot to fix it.
@@KaiBunyak The worst thing is that in other countries you can't repair them, I live in France and now I just can't use Joy Cons, I bought a pro controller and that's my only controller since years
@@KaiBunyak I actually last year bought joy cons and they havnent drifted ever since, i don’t play games as much as my friends do but I think that Nintendo should at least try, joy on drift has been a problem ever since the switch came out and I see what you mean about the small design but I think if they change the general layout of the joycon they might be able to fix joycon drift

@@CraizyMotion The Joy con drift problem is due to dust coming in the joystick I think, in other words the joysticks are too fragile and they didn't prevented that

Honestly, the app is way better. You can plan events, and begin chatting, even before playing the game, and then when you do, it syncs up to the game.
This is more reliable and versatile, whether you're playing on the tv, or on the handheld.

What do you mean data-mined? The information was released by news outlets with Nintendo's permission when they gave them the Switch a month early. What would they even be able to data-mine? Hackers would need a switch to data-mine, and even then there wouldn't be any point in it because the Mii creation option is accessible without hacking. Don't just say that things were hacked just because it sounds cooler.

This is one of the things I love about Nintendo. They put so much effort into creating everything. The UI is stunning. They thought about everything even down to the sounds. It really makes the system feel like they cared about crafting a quality product, Hardware and software.
