Combination Hiatal Hernia & TIF Surgery | Dr. Joshua Taylor, General Surgeon in Smyrna, TN

I had a patient who traveled to me from North Alabama, which is about 2 hours from where I'm located, specifically because he was very interested in undergoing TIF. Through the course of his workup he was found to have also a hiatal hernia. So he was a candidate for the combination of hiatal hernia and TIF surgery. He had surgery. He did stay overnight because of his travel. And then, went home and I checked in on him about every 2 weeks as he continued to advance. He did incredibly well and he talked about how his diet has essentially returned to normal. He has no reflux, he's off of his reflux medications, and he feels like he is back to a full life after undergoing this procedure.
