You guys forgot that Sami Zayn did have a pre-show match where he was hot and over with the crowd. It did kind of led into the bit with him in the hoodie.

Match quality was good for this event but predictable booking but obviously they got Survivor series in 2 weeks so they ain't gonna do much on a Saudi show on a Saturday afternoon but Paul winning the US title was a smart move because they can run with that till mania
I think Seth got to lose soon. It's nothing against him. But the show is too predictable. Even if the matches are good. It's a little boring when you know every single outcome

Wwe is subtly doing a lot for women’s rights over there. Rhea entrance was showing powerful Saudi MEN falling in line for a WOMAN. Powerful.
Compare to a few Crown Jewels before where the network who showed the event on TV in Saudi was fined because they accidentally showed a clip of a woman wrestler in one of the hype packages. They’re still dressed like Power Rangers but there’s definite progression being made.

Haven't cared about Rollins ever since he bombed as the top babyface in 2019 and got overshadowed by his wife. He bombed so bad that I started to appreciate Reigns and Cena more.

I was at crown jewel, 2022 and the stadium was only about half full with the section on the other side of the stadium being closed. It does get cold in Saudi Arabia, but I would say only about 40° at its coldest, but generally it’s pretty nice in the winter time. I’m sure it was because they couldn’t draw, also it is a major pain to buy tickets when I was there and I attempted to buy the tickets online. It kept bouncing back and also when I went to one of the stores they said had tickets they did not have tickets, I was super pissed at having to drive through Riyadh to get a ticket and come home empty-handed. Finally one of our Saudi friends helped us get tickets.
Jim simping over Rhea always makes me die laughing 😂. She really is the ultimate package of everything to make the perfect female wrestler 💯. Generational talent, beautiful woman, and an amazing person who loves her fans

I enjoyed the show for the most part. When you watch clips of AEW shows (I don’t watch the actual programs) it’s just a completely different animal; with WWE the wrestlers look so much more like, well, wrestlers, the work is more polished and professional and the entire presentation is of such a higher quality.

It's good to see someone from the independent circuit do well in WWE and get pushed at 41 years old. He was in NXT years ago but was released and made his name in TNA /impact until he got pushed into a corner and over shadowed by Drew Mcintyre and Bobby Lashley and MVP and even Alberto del Rio.

On the pre show match McDonough about broke his neck landing on the bottom rope neck first! Monkey flip gone wrong & he didn't rotate.
im telling you with these young guns so green bc they dont work the grueling road schedule Jims era did, but that means they have way less practice yet try 10x crazier moves (Like Jericho breaking his arm in Smokey Mountain practicing a shooting star)

I don't live there, but I believe they ran that arena just because it's relatively new to promote their Riyadh season and all that. The weather isn't as atrocious this time of year, I think.

Logan did a good job to protect Rey from harm, after he messed up a spot.
It was kinda on Logan not positioning well but he made up for it for sure. This was proof that while green he's got good instincts.

Crown Jewel was better than anything AEW has done in weeks, which is why Meltzer made sure to rate everything besides Seth and Drew at under 4 stars. Got to keep WWE looking bad. Of course, Jim also shit all over Iyo and Bianca, even if it was a good match. The crowd was just dead, which sucked for Kairi's return. The only real negatives were the god-awful segment with the Miz and Grayson Waller, and Roman willing the way Roman always does.
Theyre retarded for having womens matches in saudi arabia. Or any muslim country.
Iyo sucks and so does Kairi.
All they did for main event was redo the same boring roman match we have seen since he won title.....
Most of the Saudi Arabia events are even better than their own Wrasslemania events...

I think the only way Rey Mysterio could be a heel is if he turned heel by helping Dominik beat someone like LA Knight or Cody in this point of his career but even then, I can't see him pulling it off. He's too good of a babyface.

The Sky vs Belair match was a great mix of older style wrasslin with modern wrasslin. Lots of working on a body part & back & forth struggle. This was a match that should have been seen in a favorable manner. There's not too many of em nowadays. Char & Drippley are good, but, I don't see it as far as the current pushing of other talents. Now, Drippley is doing a great job in her elongated reign though. 🤔

The fact that Cena hasn't won a match since 2018 probably could of been left out. I guess they thought the fans would think maybe Cena had a chance to win this time... but he won against another older part timer. At some point beating Cena does not have the same impact.
It can only lose its impact if the announcers stop putting Cena over, and if Cena stops cutting amazing promos selling that he’s going to win.

Any desert during November/December nights gets cold, not in negative temperature but single digits. So Egypt, Saudi, Syria, Isreal, UAE, Nevada would get pretty cold during night time.
Yeah it does snow, less so in the desert but they have some decent sized mountains which will regularly get snow in winter.

I watched this at my friends house on Peacock and it was so long and boring i was miserable. Roman and LA Knight was pretty good but i remember being SOOOO glad it was over so i could go home. And they even have commercials on these things now to make it even more drag ass boring.

I’m so sick and tired of guys no selling the superplex. I’d you hit a superplex back in the day both guys were almost down for a ten count but nowadays the guy who does it pops right up and the guy who takes it sells for like 30 seconds.
The video segment where WWE stars pretend they love Saudi Arabia remind me of hostage videos when hostages tell how they are being treated well and now just please do exactly what they're demanding, lol.
They are building Drew to a heel, he lost for the World Championship twice, so he going full heel.
So RAW from this week was on for a one hour slot ,there were two 6 minute matches and one Rumble match for 12 minutes including adverts. The final match was Sammy vs Seth .So over 50 percent of the show was talking or advertisements not wrestling 😮 Will Jim review that ..
Loved to see Cena crumble sikoa in 90 seconds on the mic before crown jewel. WWE need cena more than he needs them to put some spark back in the shows but he shouldn't be putting over the few young wrestlers there on the main shows at his own expense. He's a legend from a better time in WWE. Again about 25 minutes wrestling in the entire show. Bianca and Cena were the only things worth watching in the entire two shows.
Even LA Knight is getting boring ,he was better on TNA but good luck to him ,he's worked for the place he's got but chasing Roman is a dead end especially if Cody is meant to win wrestlemania.
Rollins is clearly headed towards a rivalry with Punk.

Pretty certain Cena never got a win back on Lesnar after Lesnar played with Cena like he was his food.
Cena beat him in the first match Brock had after coming back to wrestling.
That was kind of the end of Super Cena. I think he's lost more matches since that beat down from Brock than he's won. One things for sure. Cena will go down as one of the greatest of all time, and will be seen as greater than Hogan, Austin and even Rock in terms of putting over the next generation on his way out.
