As fascinated as this episode was, gotta tell ya, evading the police never ends well. I cant tell you how many times I've been caught red handed speeding and simply by being respectful and cordial the state trooper let me go with a warning or far lesser ticket so that my car would not be towed or I arrested. Most of the officers are car people themselves and they get it. Jimbo...you should know better. However on that note, Bravo for another amazing episode! Can't wait to hear Jimbo's perspective!

In South Carolina, the first offense for Failure to Stop for a Blue Light is a misdemeanor punishable by at least a $500 fine or imprisonment for a term of no less than ninety days and no more than three years.
However, under US Code 18 922(g), because imprisonment for a term of more than one year is a sentencing option for Failure to Stop for a Blue Light, Jimbo would lose his 2A rights if convicted, regardless of whether or not the judge merely fined him or imprisoned him for less than one year.
This only applies if Jimbo is convicted for Failure to Stop for a Blue Light. If the judge drops this charge in exchange for pleading guilty to the other charges, this does not apply.
