I don't think that "rule of thumb" had anything to do with anything in this video. It didn't even look like they were on the highway, they were just doing 120 MPH straight down the road. He literally got smoked by a pick up truck cop car. That's a first. Should have never got out of the car. The fat guy paddle shifting the "hypercar" was also cringe, as was all of them getting shook down on the highway. Did anybody ever get the lambo or whatever it was running? Decent video none the less.

When they ask why you didn't pull over when "you saw my blues", the correct answer is.. "What blues". This can save you from a costly evasion charge.
exactly he just froze up, easily could of said what blue... I had no idea you were chasing me. which would make sense, when going that fast sometimes you have no idea a cop is chasing you. On top of that he could say I wasnt running, I literally drove right to where we were all driving to, which was this race track. And If i was running, why would I come here, and not keep going, and lose you?

He screwed his self when he ran. After he committed to run and hide, he should’ve stayed hidden. They would’ve only wasted so much time on an investigation then towed the car off and he would’ve stayed free. If you’re gonna be about that life, be about it. Don’t play in between because police will jerk you around if hurt their ego

That would've been a dick move to everyone at the event. The cop could've very easily stayed around and prevented anybody from going on the track, so it was a lose-lose situation. Better to bite the bullet than to let your own reputation get bitten.

just because the cop said that, doesnt mean it true. First the cop said he would of gave him a warning, then he said I maybe would of gave him a ticket. He was saying all that once he got him for running, to act cool like "yeah if you guys would of stopped I would have gave you a warning" when in reality he would of done everything to bust him for how fast he was going. the only reason he would give him a warning is not because hes a nice cop, but because he didnt get him on radar

#2 had my heart racing because I had the same situation in my TT stealth. Only saving grace is I was going so fast the cop didn't see me when I took the next exit and parked in a mall parking lot. He would have had no way of knowing I took the exit.

There is a thing called endangering others even as a police officer, after a certain speed you are required to back off and kill the chase
correct, and only SELECT FEW cops are allowed to chase at all! I recently found that out...
Doesn’t it vary by location? I’ve seen some cops give chase at dangerous speeds. Other municipalities won’t go past a certain speed for the reason you said

Learned his lesson the hard way. I did the same thing up in CT, ended up doing 157 on I-84 trying to outrun a state trooper

84 in CT is the worst road to speed on lol
My advice, if you are gonna run, only do it for 1 pull and only if there is already so much distance that you could argue not seeing or hearing them yet. if you can not get the gap right away to get away, pull right over and tell him you saw him last second while speeding and pulled over immediately. If you get the gap, you go, if you dont, you stop and can reasonably defend that you pulled over the moment you saw/heard them.

Certain states dont recognize other states tickets ie when i was stationed in california i got 4 wreckless driving tickets.. Arkansas driving record was clean tickets never showed up or i wouldve been suspended or revoked
Mine was almost suspended after one ticket. And I was going 25 over.
