This will be a typical blizzard thing where all new classes they have ever released have been massively overturned to get everyone to play the new class.
So they basically made the Spiritborn have a much easier access to ways to make hybrid builds than Druids. Druid need multiple aspects or even legendaries to make one type of skill count as the other. Spiritborn can just have it for free...
They NEED to let us save several load out for our characters. I have a Barb and Rogue and I want to switch between Bash/WW on Barb and Heartseeker/Twisting Blades on Rogue which is pretty tedious between tracking gear and resetting/redoing Skills/Paragons.
My guess is Blizzard will make Sprintborn OP for one season, so people will buy the expansion. Then, it will be heavily nerfed in the next balance patch.
Spiritborn looks pretty goddamn sick, I loved Monk in D3 and this looks even cooler! I love the Final Fantasy-like elements like the Dragoon jump attack and summon spells
Same love the monk in immortal as well wish they had monk in d4 but I'll take this just hope we don't have to go 4 more seasons to get another charecter lol
I’ll be excited to see the paragon board. There seems to be a lot of diversity with this class and the direction you can take it. From thorns, blocking, and dodging to poison buildup. The crit damage capabilities on some of the aspects are crazy too. Definitely gonna play it.
I'm already (a little) hyped about the addon, but not because of the new class, but because the "cool world" is being expanded/enlarged AND there's more quality of life and the game is generally better.
Yes, I'm definitely getting heavy Monk vibes from the Spiritborn. Makes the D3 Monk main in me happy. S6 might be the first season I don't make a Druid & a Barb 😬
Yesterday was a big big announcement day for the arpg world. Massive news, changes and additions. And yeah i think D4 announced something too i think. Didnt check yet.
1:16 I like with what they did for expanding the map. I wonder in a few years if the game continues to receive these story expansions that perhaps we'll get the entirety or a vast majority of Sanctuary to explore
For that Hunter ultimate, would be cool if that can be cast on the Spiritborn and follow him / her. Maybe an aspect or temper in the future will do that
Unfortunately, blizzard isn’t the only company that does that. Elder skulls online did the same thing when they introduced new class with an expansion made them OP but we can assume that just yet because the balancing patch wasn’t done yet the footage that we seen them playing was from five weeks ago, so I’m sure things have been changed or balanced out more now, and of course you know they’re probably gonna have to do some bouncing midseason
Spiritborn seems cool but I am waiting for more information of new system included in this expansion before buying: Mercenaries & especially New co-op endgame dungeon
Dam, I thought sorc had it bad with staff only weapon, not having option to use two one handers is a mistake to me , only getting one weapon to temper is going to be a big disadvantage.
Was gonna say the same thing. They'd better put tons of stats and aspects on weapons for such class as Spiritborn or ones that can't equip many weapons.
@@bobashpole4578 empty off hand but said on many occasions that they only have 2hand weapons like clave, staff, and polearm unless they decide to give offhand down the road.
Big props to blizzard for actually trying to make a new unique class not seen before! instead of just copypasting an old one like paladin or monk, which would be an easy safe choice. But of course when trying to cook up a brand new class it might turn out lame and lacking, but this actually looks pretty sick not gonna lie!! Not what I was expecting.
I’m so torn on this. It seems cool but nothing that’s like overly exciting. I feel like they should get a lot of the class balancing down before adding a whole new class. Just afraid it’s gonna be another class that’s overshadowed by Barb lmao. Still excited just not sure about it.
How oppressive will these effects be to other players? The fire mage with the firewalls is basically a flashbang to my eyes right now, and the black stuff on the ground the Necros used to have used to obscure everything for all other players. Hopefully in a world boss when 10 eagles land and flap around you can still see the screen.
New class sounds fine but overall my impression is that the game will be more of the same? I just came over from the new PoE expansion video (I know, don't crucify me) and it's like night and day.
We still don't have the full picture yet, we don't really know what seasonal mechanics will be involved and what any additional content the expansion will bring for endgame.
Various skills, such as the gorilla and passive skills (patient guard) provide a chance to block, but can he only block using a staff or with any of the other weapons?

seems overloaded and like it does something from every other class just better... idk how to feel about it considering class balance and with 4 classes each class having its own style and now 1 class having all other classes styles inplemented in it...
Mixed feelings after the Blizz presentation and this video. Seems like it does a little bit of what every other class does already but doesn't really have its own niche. We'll see how it fits in. Personally would have preferred Paladin for the expansion. Oh well.
why not a angel class ? with celestial skills ? nice looking armors .. sword and shield ? or lance ... we got that instead a half naked monk /W, doctor :"/
well.. better version is a bit of a stretch.. Don't judge a class based on lvl 30 content. last time the community did this, it was during the 25 lvl betas, which brought ridiculusly huge nerfs to sorc that they STILL haven't recovered from. Truth is that we don't know if this class is any good based on what we've seen. What we DO know is that it is interesting and engaging.
Blizzard Sales Strategy, marketing 1:01. Make class, make it flash, OP for first 2-3 weeks, get people to buy expansion with thought of being "overpowered", nerf it, people realise when it isn't OP it is boring, realise hundreds of flaws in class and lack of diversity, people complain. 6-8 Weeks later, Blizzard attempt to buy back players with we're listening, and we will change it... Nothing happens for 6 months. 6-8 Months later, game reaches pinnacle. 10 Months later announce next expansion with full details, rebuild Hype... Same thing over and over.
Did anyone ask the devs why the dungeons and world have the same mobs as the base game? Because lets be honest here, it just plain lazy. POE and LE have a huge variety of mobs, but D4 gets a pass because of some unknow reason.
What bring it all if at para 100 is end? Give us more para how in d3. To take more points at paraboard.. Its useless kill so much enemys if you para 100 and get no xp.. And when we get betzer teleport system how in d3 to other player? Direct port not 2x and over city thats so a big sh... And third we need saveable builds!
Actually it looks super fun. New class fits new region. I'm sure people who whine about the paladin if Blizzard made one would be whining that they can't come up with a new class.They will never be satisfied.
typical dlc treatment. blows my mind how other ultimates do not follow as well. like, look at druids werewolf ultimate. its utterly crap. a stationary attack for a build, which is designed for attack and movement speed... if the other classes dont get a rework on their ultimates / cooldown, then there is no need to play any other class than barb or spiritborn. wp blizzard

Tbh when i see this i really dont wanna spend $$$ on this dlc - nothing looks fun, just a rework of monk from D3. Major question are raids - are they gonna bury or ressurect this game ? If i'm gonna be able - as a casuall player - to join and complete any raid i want via some LFR system - then it's fine. But if they gonna be "locked out" by some looking for group, elitist system like M+ in WoW (specific classes / setups / builds only etc. etc.) or looking for group will be for example on discord (which would be fucking hilarious but everything is possible...) then it's just fucking game over of D4 for me.
meh, Still would rather have a paladin, Or a fallen paladin of the order (dark paladin? dark knight? Paladin of the night?) Whatever still rather that then whatever this is but it is what it is people will enjoy it.
It sucks that they didn’t wanna reveal some kind of end game level stuff. I’m giving it a chance, but honestly looks a little boring with what was shown. Could have at least given you a couple sacred uniques to really show off some builds, but yeah I guess we will see soon how it goes
Not to shit on all the negative Nancies out there. But, this looks fresh and interesting. Let’s see what people can come up with builds wise. Best believe I’ll be playing this class! Looks like a fun time to me.

Well leaks, showed that theres some skill tree add ons or something for all the base classes. so maybe they are adding some extra stuff to make it feel not only spirit born
oh how i hope the numbers for dmg can be as is in this video..or get to few thousands and stop there , instead of random milions/bilions ....atm the dmg and numbers poping due to all those % gain feels like an afk arena phone game.
I'm glad they created a BRAND NEW class for D4 (from the ground up) It's nice to have something completely new rather than another re-used/old class from a previoua game (even though I'd love Paladin, I rather have this)

I’m Not sure if you can do it on this game, but ff14 online you can turn off other players mechanics so it doesn’t make your eyes bleed.

I was kinda hoping I could summon all 4 spirits but it looks like you can only summon 1 as a ultimate. Still looks like a fun class.

I'm coming from the future, and the tier list for season 6 is:
- Barb
- Rogue
- Necro
- Skinny Druid
- Sorc
- Fat Druid
Don’t worry they will let new guy run wild for the first few seasons and tone him down once he gets settled in the game.
Wrong skinny Druid will be No 1 in season 6, barb 2nd. Barb will be back to top in season 7

They use diablo 3 monk's assests, i already see the monk's basic combo animation on spiritborn.
So druid but better. i love my druid, but this just looks better in every way.

The massive spirits will be annoying in a party just like the snake from the sorceress.
